A one legacy in this episode that doesn't backfire Warning: Spoilers
Legacies, to me, isn't quite as strong as the previous episode Damaged which continued to expand on the premise of a rich boy being stranded on an island for five years and becomes a vigilante hunting for criminals in the most compelling way possible. However, this episode is still great as there are lots of things to admire. The new bad guy of the day has a connection to Oliver's father which makes sense since there were plenty of criminals that Robert Queen was involved with. The story continues to be interesting as is the writing which compliments the darker tone really well, the music score is really atmospheric particularly the mystery elements and action sequences and the acting continues to be really good the best coming from Stephen Amell and the appearances of Manu Bennett as Slade Wilson. Also, the cinematography continues to be very well made. So, overall, not quite as strong as Damaged, but another great episode nonetheless.

Arrow Season 1 Episode 6

Review : What I want to say to review this episode is that this episode is good enough and interesting. But somewhere along the way this episode has slowed down a bit and tried to make the story bigger by dragging it down. Let's see what the next episode looks like.

Acting : Very Good

Directing : Good Enough

Screenplay : Bad

Dialogue : Good Enough

Background Score : Good Enough

Soundtrack : Existence not found

Cinematography : Very Good

Sound Recording : Good

Lighting : Good Enough

Vfx : Good Enough

Overall Ratings : Seven out of ten.

When I review episodes, that review is based entirely on my own personal ideas. Seeing the episodes of any season of any series, I think I write it in the review. I know, maybe in my reviews I often write something bad, like the writers didn't write the story well or the director didn't do well or the actors-actresses over-acted. But I don't use foul language or profanity in my reviews. If I unknowingly hurt someone in my review or if someone feels bad after reading my review, then I sincerely apologize to him.

I thank you for reading my review so patiently.

It Just Keeps Getting Better!

This episode is the best one of the show so far, and brings a decidedly different tone to "Arrow". The antagonists here are not as black-and- white as the corrupt businessmen Oliver has been taking down. For the first time, Oliver deviates from the list, and it's a direction Diggle is intent on leading him down. We are beginning to see the makings of a hero in the hooded vigilante.

While the aforementioned criminals must be dealt with, of course, they took a backseat this week to the exploration of relationships between the characters. For the first time, Ollie's interactions with Thea and his mother seem truly believable, and they play off each other nicely.

"Legacies" did a fantastic job of making me actually care about the characters I've been watching on the screen for the past few weeks. Tommy Merlyn finally got some decent screen time here, and I've gone from finding his character shallow and annoying to enjoying his presence and looking forward to his appearances.

After last week's great "Damaged", I thought the standard had been set, and I wasn't sure how much better the show could get. "Legacies" eliminates any concerns I had about the future of "Arrow"; it is easily the best episode thus far, and sets the bar even higher for what is already turning out to be an amazing series.

A PERFECT LEGACY
THEARROWFLASH14 July 2020
ARROW has done it again! PERFECTION INCARNATE!

The exploration of the legacies of this episode's "villian" and the similarities with Oliver was truly breathtaking and never before or after seen on any show except The Flash!

The cinematography, the acting, the plot, the dialogue, the eomtions are ALL PERFECT!

The first reappearance of Oliver's father was ABSOLUTELY PERFECT! It wasn't some cheap revival of the actual character but a genius way to make Oliver even more relatable than he already was! It was brilliant and as always, WATCH THIS EPISODE TO TRULY GRASP IT'S PERFECTION!
