- A brief but gory scene shows Tobias using a man's intestines to make violin strings.
- At a crime scene a man is shown with his throat cut open to expose his vocal chords; the gory wound is visible.
- Will Graham imagines cutting the man's throat open in order to use his vocal chords to play the violin; a brief close-up shows him making an incision with gory results and the gory wound is shown.
- Will Graham finds a police officer dead with a spike impaled through his neck; there is a small pool of blood underneath him.
- Will Graham finds a police officer dead with wire embedded in his face; bloody wounds are visible.
- Tobias kicks Hannibal and attacks him with a long length of wire which he eventually catches on his arm; some blood is shown as it tightens around his wrist. They then struggle and Hannibal hits Tobias with a glass chair and headbutts him before throwing him into a desk. Hannibal then charges at Tobias and grabs him, sending them both to the floor. Tobias stabs Hannibal in the leg with a letter opener and they struggle again before Hannibal stabs Tobias in the arm with a pen. They then have a prolonged fistfight which eventually ends with Hannibal breaking one of Tobias' arms and then punching him in the throat, causing him to fall to his knees choking. Hannibal then kills Tobias by dropping a small statue on his head; his body is shown with some blood.
