James Bond Really Pretty Funny!
ShelbyTMItchell16 September 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Daniel Craig is the second Bond actor to try comedy. As Pierce Brosnan was the first Bond to do that. If I remember correctly. As Craig seems pretty funny. And even did a funny American accent.

Craig also did Bond. As there were some actresses that did were "unknown" then most of the Bond babes or whatever they are called. In the SNL Digital to spoof to the then 50th anniversary of the Bond Series.

Also he did a NY accent to that A&E show about the Long Island Medium playing the husband. As he tried to get rid of the British accent. In some of the skits.

He tries to show that he can do comedy. But kind of tried way too hard. Not as funny as Pierce. But still funny enough!

Saturday Night Live Host: Daniel Craig
dalydj-918-2551757 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
James Bond does comedy? Presidential Debate: Jim Lehrer (Chris Parnell) mediates the debate between Obama (Jay Pharoh) and Mitt (Jason Sudeikis), Obama wants teachers and while Mitt makes his claims Obama thinks about a gift for Michelle. While Mitt goes talking about his aims also makes Lehrer think more about PBS. OK opening but I expected better with how much material they got. B- (MVP: Jay Pharoh)

Monologue: Daniel Craig comes out to try comedy. Craig says he was in very dark films so they have an in memoriam to people he has killed in films. Sure it's funny but calling people "The something" just is not funny. C- (MVP: Daniel Craig)

Construction Guys: Daniel plays an American. The sketch is about these men talking about women as they walk by and while the other workers do not like what he says. Craig's insults are awful and we see that his father was killed for saying things like what the other men say. C+ (MVP: Daniel Craig)

Lesser Known Bond Girls: We get to see how Diane Keaton (Never Die Twice Tomorrow), Jodie Foster (Kill Me Once, Shame on You), Lea Michelle (Hippopotopussy) would be as bond girls. Also Molly Ringwald (The Man Who Was a Gun), Ellen DeGeneres (Honey I Killed a Spy) and Penny Marshall (Quantam of Leap) as funnier bond girls. This was funny especially Keaton and Foster. B+ (MVP: Kate McKinnon)

A Look Back At The Obama Debate Disaster: Cecily Strong gets her own sketch. Chris Matthews is very loud as he was the actual night of the debate saying it was horrible. Also he have excuses being made. Chris's advice for the debate is that Obama stops being a pussy. B (MVP: Cecily Strong)

Long Island Medium: Kate McKinnon as Theresa Caputo nailing as the medium who is just so funny. Getting people to cry as she always says she can talk to the dead. B+ (MVP: Kate McKinnon)

Artemis Space Mission: Bobby as Kirby he misses his kitty Kat. It's so cute that he can put on this voice as the others try to get him to stop. He takes so much about his cat that when he says he brought him on the ship he killed him accidentally by leaving him in a bag but it turns out to be a next pillow leaving his kitty alive. B (MVP: Bobby Moynihan)

Muse - "Madness": The performance had some good points but overall I found it boring with the musical being too loud for the vocals, only near the end did I like the singing. B- (MVP: Muse)

Weekend Update: First up is the debate where Seth mentions Obama letting Mitt win and saying he wants PBS to go. Then it's winners and Losers with Jim as a Loser, Fox News being a winner, Michelle Obama being a loser watching her husband lose, Downton Abbey as a winner not getting mentioned by Romney, Winner/Loser being medical care and USA being the overall winner. Biggest loser being the staff of Joe Biden. Big Bird then comes to comment on the show about what Mitt said, He says Mitt has made him more known. Then Kate comes on a the women who repainted that painting and wanted money. She says Jesus came to her with how he looked. B (MVP: Kate McKinnon)

A Sorry Lot We Are: An old show taking about these men without jobs even one with a dead mother. All about Danny and his ex Maggie. Then there is good luck as a job comes up to be in a lineup. D+ (MVP: Daniel Craig)

Regine: Carl comes to a party with his girlfriend Regine. When he kissed her her face goes open. Everyone sees her face and wonders why he wants everyone to watch her face. It was funny at first but they did too many faces. C (MVP: Fred Armisen)

Muse - "Panic Station": Better second song I think as the performance felt better and also it's a better song. B+ (MVP: Muse)

Undecided Voters: Just repeating what they did last time and once again and it's OK not really overly funny. B (MVP: Nasim Padrad)

Funny episode with Kate McKinnon being the spottily and she could take up role Wiig has left only by using this episode as a starting point.

EPISODE GRADE: B- (MVP: Kate McKinnon)
