Warning: Spoilers
This episode opens in Pakistan; officially a village has been wiped out by a subterranean gas released by an earthquake; a local says men were seen dropping chemical drums into the lake… lake bed samples should indicate the source of the poison. Back in London Jack Turner tells the Pakistani minister that he knows Polyhedrus, the company that built the dam, is behind the Chinese bid; he also claims to have evidence of their wrong doing; they don't realise that there conversation is being eavesdropped by Byzantium. With this knowledge they realise what is in the case Turner has had all series and determine to get their hands on it. Meanwhile Stephen Turner confronts Sam with the evidence given to him by DI Everett; fingerprints found as the offices of Lewis Conroy on the night of the break in; she is offended that he thinks she could have been involved and claims that she'd been there with Conroy. Sam also pays a visit to the house of Hector Stokes; CEO of Polyhedrus and finds a file concerning the attack on her in Tangier, and another concerning her mother… it would appear that the client wants her dead and if she is to learn why she will have to remember something from her childhood that is so sensitive Stokes would kill her rather than risk it becoming public.

As this series approaches its conclusion some mysteries are starting to be revealed; we know who wants Sam dead but not why, we learn what was in Turner's case and we learn the identity of the minister who leaked Sam's details to Stokes. There is plenty of action including a fight between Sam and two of Stokes' henchmen, somebody being shot in the head and another person being suffocated! Perhaps the biggest reveal was that even though the villain of the series Jack Turner is clearly a very bad person the people employing Byzantium are an order of magnitude worse! With only one episode to go the tension is rising nicely and Sam is in more danger than ever… I can't wait to see how it ends!
