Disappointing
troma_freek3 May 2019
I liked James Bickert's absurd Dear God No, it was an original and highly effective homage to seventies exploitation cinema. I expected more of the same and therefore had high hopes for Frankenstein Created Bikers. Sadly the magic of Dead God No is nowhere to be found. The film starts on a strong note with a group of teenagers going to a lake only to end up being murdered by Bigfoot. Soon after Biker gang the Impalers show up and capture Bigfoot and bring him to a mad scientist. It's all downhill from here on and I was honestly glad when it was finally over. This would have made a great grindhouse faux trailer, but does not hold up over it's 125 minutes over-bloated running time. There's some great moments (but they are few and far between) and plenty of gore and nudity. Praise also has to go Tristan Risk (American Mary), who steals the show in every scene. Ellie Church is also always great to watch. I love that they shot the film on 35mm. The biggest problem with Frankenstein Created Bikers are really the disjointed, incoherent script and the awful dialogues. The editing is also at fault with no real continuity.

Improved sequel
Floated29 December 2022
This film is apparently the direct sequel to Dear God No! (2011), in which that film was very cheap looking, lousy production value and filled with amateurish acting.

Frankenstein Created Bikers is an all around improvement in every level. Featuring a returning cast yet added in Tristan Risk and Ellie Church whom are both the highlights of the film. The bikers acting are mainly generic and they drag the film down.

This film looks more like an actual film, as opposed to the original where that looked like an amateur school project.

There are some decent moments of action and weirdness that occur. Things are more over the top. The gore and violence is very fake looking but that was expected. Not enough of the Bigfoot.

As in the original there does contains numerous scenes of nudity. Still as a whole the film is quite a mess, drags on and at times and is highly confusing. A lot of scene cuts and jump scenes.

Just Awful
werewolfgal1314 November 2016
Warning: Spoilers
I saw this flick at DedFest and am sorry to say it was the worst film of the festival. I really like biker/exploitation films and was sorely disappointed by this one. It's shot in the tiresome fake grind-house style way which was so in vogue 10 years ago and has a lot of AfterEffects filters piled generously over it. There are some cute boobs bouncing through the film and the occasional decent gore effect but neither of these redeem the film. The dialogue is high-school levels of "edgy" and the actors (save Laurence R Harvey doing his best Poirot impersonation) are all varying shades of terrible. Unlikeable and insipid not even a couple pints help this clunker.

John Waters meets the Grindhouse on 35mm Film
MovieFreak74114 June 2016
Wow! I caught an advanced screening in Little Rock, Arkansas at a Comic Expo and it blew my mind. This is a nasty epic for sure. The film won an award for best screenplay that night and it was well deserved. The dialog is like a Russ Meyer film. It comes at you fast and full of innuendo. Every line, they are memorable, is laced with satire and venom. This movie is 100% jaw dropping fun. If you want to see a totally unique take on old school exploitation in the form of a dead biker creature feature film with great sound and a rocking score, this is awesome! Really impressive editing, writing, performances and tons of gory practical effects. No fake scratches and the 35mm cinematography was beautiful. One reviewer said there was rape and the female characters were there just to be naked. I highly disagree. There is no rape at all and the ladies in the film are strong, free-willed and tough as nails. They take care of business. Especially the fantastic actresses Tristan Risk. The guy from the human centipede movies is wonderful too. I highly recommend you find this film.

Enjoyable if overlong grindhouse homage
kannibalcorpsegrinder21 March 2020
Capturing a wild creature at a lake-side ambush, a group of bikers take it back to a mad doctor for his experiments on body transplantation after bringing the biker gang back as zombie-like slaves, but when a female biker sets out for revenge against them with her own gang leading to a massive confrontation.

Overall, this one proved to be an exceptionally enjoyable exploitation throwback. That this one immediately dives into the over-the-top and the sleazy atmosphere that's going to be present throughout the rest of the film offers a great idea of what's to come. The rampaging creature tearing through the group camping and screwing at the lake where it rips them to pieces before getting captured by the biker gang offers up some fun here with the gratuitous nudity and splatter-style gore as it kills them all. The continuous inclusion of all sorts of various grindhouse and exploitation elements including biker gangs, a one-eyed assassin out for revenge and a mad doctor experimenting with ways to bring the dead back to life so his daughter can have a new body to put her detached head back on manage to generate the kind of dirty, grimy setup that becomes quite immersive and enjoyable with the extended running time bringing plenty to like here. Due to this atmosphere, there's plenty to like here with the stellar amount of over-the-top action. From a blazing gunfight through the woods with the biker gang realizing the zombie-like state of the assistant's gang of bikers who just take the gunfire and retaliate with their series of gun-battles, the various comedic interactions with the investigating police officers at the scene or the various wacked out confrontations with bizarre characters of the community that includes chainsaw-wielding priests, deformed test subjects or weapon-wearing assassins that continually come into the storyline, this offers up plenty of high-energy, gore-filled action. The seemingly random and chaotic mess of a story means that things are constantly happening which gives this plenty to like as there's all kinds of blood and over-the-top setups here which make this one enjoyable and hold it up for the most part. This one does have a few issues. The main problem is the fact that there are so many storylines at play here that this one is far longer than it needs to be, as the in-depth nature of everything could be dropped or trimmed without losing anything. The scenes at the strip club where they go through several acts while discussing business in the background, the discussions at the scientists' lab where they go on longer than they should or the pointless conversation at the gangsters' hideout that doesn't go anywhere. It's all a part of the film's grandiose, epic scale that tends to feature bonkers material only because it can without any kind of direction here due to all the random ingredients it throws in here. Some might be put off by the over-the-top content on display but that's expected considering the concept and isn't considered a truly detrimental issue like the pacing is which holds it back the most, if that is to be considered a flaw in and of itself.

Rated Unrated/NC-17: Continuous Nudity, Extreme Graphic Violence, Extreme Graphic Language, depraved sexual scenes and heavy drug use.

The Ben-Hur of Exploitation Film
Christopher_Giroux31 May 2016
Saw the Canadian premiere for "Frankenstein Created Bikers" at SHOCK STOCK and let me tell you this was one of the most fun experiences in theaters I've ever had!

This is the The Ben-Hur of Exploitation film, a 2-hour epic filled with blood, breasts, guns, gore and oh so much more! If Grindhouse \ Exploitation films are your cup of tea then you need to see this movie because you have never seen anything like it!

Huge Hats off to Ellie Church, Tristan Risk, Jett Bryant, Madeline Brumby, and Laurence R. Harvey epic performances!

James Bickert awesome job, sometimes the jokes or gags were so back to back i was still laughing or in awe I'd miss the next thing! This demands a second watch and I can't wait to grab it on Bluray when it comes out

Warning NOT FOR THE WEAK STOMACH!

I went nuts on this!
BandSAboutMovies11 December 2020
Warning: Spoilers
The sequel to Dear God No takes the insanity of that film and goes beyond the limit to create a movie that pretty much takes every taboo and shoves it in your face to smell and taste it. It's not for everyone - neither was the first film - but it's an absolute thrill for those who are ready for it.

Jett has been resurrected from beyond the grave, but is now addicted to the substance that brought him and his gang back. Now, they're forced to capture cryptids and be the errand boys for the Nazi scientists that hold the keys to keeping them all alive. Now, with every gang in the world - including Val, a one-eyed mankiller played by Tristan Risk - after him, as well as bounty hunters, a chainsaw-wielding priest, rival gangs and topless masked exotic dancers - nobody is getting out alive.

This goes a bit too long at 2 hours and 5 minutes, but that's really my only complaint. There's something here to excite and offend everyone, sometimes at the same time. And hey - Darcy the Mail Girl dances on stage at one point.

There's enough in here for about ten movies, so if they ever make a third one, I have no idea what's next. I enjoyed the journey that all of the gang took on this one, but this definitely feels like the end. Then again, they all got killed last time, too, as must happen in all good biker movies. No matter what happens, if there is a sequel, I'll definitely be there for it. Probably drinking beer the whole time again, too.

After all, the world needs more perverted biker movies filled with drugs, mutilation, nudity, sex, gore, Bigfoot and one-eyed murder machines, right?

Most entertaining film I've seen in years.
SarahKnockYouOut12 July 2016
There was no doubt in my mind that Frankenstein Created Bikers would be awesome. I have just returned from a advanced showing of the picture and will have to say I am completely satisfied with this great film. The audience was cracking up and cheering and it made the entire experience more memorable. This is the kind of film where I will always remember the first time I saw it. It delivers an original story with one of the most satisfying endings. The women are gorgeous and the men are all ugly. Yet everyone is really cool, tough and fun to watch. 10/10 is the rating I give this film. I recommend this movies to anyone who is a lover of films.

Dear God Yes!
snazzy-5412812 January 2017
This straight sequel to the film "Dear God No!" was worth the wait. This is a massive production with tons of extras that exceeds in becoming the new standard for exploitation homages. The cast, look, insane dialogue and sheer whacked-out situations are all on a point.

If you love that sleazy unpredictable cinema from the late 1960s to the late 1970s, you're in for an all-out party. Best served up with several cocktails, I saw this film turn a mild mannered film festival crowd and it turned into a night club. The crowd was mostly stuffy filmmakers working in other fields and even they were floored by what this film accomplishes, enough so to give it a rowdy standing ovation. This ain't your typical straight to video hokum but a well crafted masterpiece that validates every bargain bin I've dumpster dived and every comic-con screening roulette wheel I've rolled. It's like a tribute to Russ Meyers, Hammer Frankenstein films and more but it isn't really. It doesn't attempt to give you little self-aware winks, it just lives in this weird universe of these other classic cult movies.

Thank you film gods and thank you to this team for delivering the goods. Laurence Harvey and Tristan Risk are better than ever too! How the hell did they get them? Must have been the sweet script. The absolute best the underground has to offer. Impressed.

Ay Carumba! What did I just see!
EvilSanto6928 June 2016
Bikers from the grave are forced to catch a Bigfoot in order to get the dope that keeps them alive. Not a spoiler. That's the beginning of this insanity. Holy Toledo how did this get made? It has everything and consistently goes into weirder scenarios with an enormous cast, tons of monsters, grue, guns and female nudity to spare. It looks fantastic from being shot on film and not video. The sound quality is Hollywood level, which completely surprised me not knowing much about this. The acting is great too and totally over the top without entering cheese territory. There is so much going on, you just can't grasp it all in one sitting. The lines in this flick are just rapid fire B-Movie gold. Laurence Harvey (Human Centipede), Tristan Risk (American Mary) and the lead biker are standouts who deliver their words with casual evil delight.

I'll admit, I didn't fully understand what was going on the entire time but I was having fun. I really want to see it again. I really like how they turned horror scenarios upside down and kept you guessing what would happen next. I was wrong half the time, which was great.

Big kudos to the special effects team too and all their real practical effects. There are some gore gags you have never seen before, ever! I found out this is kind of a sequel to another film called "Dear God No" so I watched it and it's fun also. Not this crazy fun, though. I can't wait to see "Frankenstein Created Bikers" again and a third one in this series.

The first classic of the new century
YourMovieSucks66613 July 2016
Warning: Spoilers
Frankenstein Created Bikers is all about excess. Excess blood, gore, puss, explosions, nudity, near non-stop laughter and violence. A completely off the wall, no holds barred smorgassboard of absolute cinematic enjoyment. People blow up when shot with revolvers, gore is splattered at least every couple minutes once it gets past the first two minutes. It is so freakin' good that I think my eyes fell out and had an orgasm due to the cinematic bliss.

The film begins with kids in a van going to the woods and you think oh crap not again but they die right away by a monster! Then we get drug addict zombie bikers, mad scientist, bounty hunters, strippers with guns, fetuses, body pits, roaches and a talking friggin' head!

Chainsaws too! This is one bloody gory deathfest. It has the best suicide ever put on screen and a woman actually rams her dead kid back inside her! I couldn't believe it and you won't either. There is so much nudity it is insane and profane. No rape either. They don't take the cheap way out but still bring a new shocking vision. It is shot with some many different styles of horror films and set- ups the non-stop violence keeps getting more complicated and interesting.

Did I mention how damn funny it is? In a new way too. It doesn't take itself hipster serious but knows why you are there and what you want to see. There are no words in the history of mankind that can help me explain to anyone the insanity that is displayed in Frankenstein Created Bikers. This is exactly the movie that Hollywood needed to have kicked up it's butt. Sit back, relax, and prepare to have your head explode! Go see it now or you'll regret it!
