Honestly not sure why this episode is rated so low. This episode honestly is one of my favorite in SAO. Not only does this episode serve as stepping stone to the shows most iconic duo but provides and great mystery. While it could be said this episode is mostly filler. In the context of the show as a whole in it's current 4 season, a lot of things in the episode shape the series.
