The only thing wrong with this show is the title. Good story lines, good characters, good scenery. However, they are about as far from the Navy and Marines or just about any military organization they can be. Except for Sam's claims to have been a Navy SEAL they rarely investigate any USN or USMC crimes, unlike the show NCIS where just about anything and everything they do is related to said USN or USMC. They chase spies, gangsters, druggies and bomb threats. Never see them aboard a ship or on a military base. Let's call this show by another name so as not to mislead watchers into thinking it is like NCIS. How about calling it "West Coast Threat Removers," or "LA Crime Scene," or just plain "Government Criminal Investigative Service" or "GCIS."
