Parenthood Family Portrait

Warning: Spoilers
We are thrown back into the life's of the Braverman's. It seems like the last year was the time we had a new Parenthood episode so happy it's back. Crosby is married, Julia has taken in a foster child, Sarah has been engaged to with no ring, Haddie is going to college and we get to see Ray Romano who gives Sarah a job being a photographer. Max can really be a jerk but I know it is just cause he has ass burgers. Jason Ritter and Lauren Graham really have some great chemistry on this show and a quick scene with them in great. Now to do some stuff with Jabbar it seems his grandmother has made him start to pray a lot which brings up some problems. Well not everyone can be good on their first day of work but it seems Sarah is her usual awkward self. The growing problems of religion come up so Crosby's asks his parents and we here they did some kinky stuff back in the days. This show strives on being sweet I think and even though Max and Haddie may fight they still love each other like everybody else in one the show. Adam can really be cruel and Crosby really should not tell him anything because he always over reacts. The big fights of the episode being with Adam and Crosby then with Adam and Haddie who seems to be trapped as they take up most of her time. It seems the end of this episode may be the family portrait which is very tense and dramatic for something so small and adding in Ray Romano is smart of the writers as he fits into the show. Haddie comes to the portrait which is predictable and then everyone gets together to wish her goodbye. Who will Sarah choose she has her young finance Jason Ritter and her older boss type Ray Roman who will she choose. With finishing religion for this episode it involves a short moment of conversation under the stars with Jabbar as Crosby tells him about his believes giving us another great moment. Saying goodbye to Haddie is handled very well and it's very emotional for those who watch the show like me because it is never easy to say good by especially for parents saying goodbye toe their first born. The song selection playing was smart because it made the moment more genuine and the best part of the episode. This episode was a good return and fits in well with how I Remember the show. No one really stood out because this show is such an ensemble and one of the best casts on the silver screen.

EPISODE GRADE: B (MVP: Dax Shepard)
