I haven't seen seasons 1, 2, 3 and 5, so I'm watching season 4 of Spiral for the first time. I especially like the intersection of the police, judiciary, and prosecution and of course the defenders. One of my favorite moments is when Gilou (Thierry Godard) liaises with his informants, and does his best to get some favor for them regarding licensing hours. Gilou said to the judge that good people don't give tips, and that sums things up.
There needs to be a spin-off series for Audrey Fleurot and her defence lawyer character Joséphine Karlsson. Joséphine is the epitome of the defence lawyer everyone needs if they're in a spot of bother.
The ending of episode 2 was a very horrific, and I wonder how the detainee got his hands on flammable liquid to do the horrible deed on himself.
