Chennai, March 27: Southern actress Lavanya Tripathi, who rose to stardom after a successful debut in producer S.S. Rajamouli's Telugu romantic drama "Andala Rakshasi", feels a successful banner adds weight to a project and helps in drawing crowds.
"Rajamouli's sir's name definitely added lot of weightage to my debut film, which had an all new team. He didn't merely fund the project, but was also constantly assessing us on the sets whenever he had time. But, his association with the project definitely drew masses to the cinemas," Lavanya told Ians.
But she admits a successful banner may not always churn out a blockbuster.
