  Gillian : [smiling at Celia]  Hello Celia. I've heard a lot about you. I've met Caroline.

  Celia : [holding Alan's hand]  Right, well, we've got some news for you. For both of you.

  Alan , Celia : We're getting married.

• Gillian : [driving the Land Rover]  Hang on, stop. Let's start again. You...

• Gillian : What did you say to Raffy?

  Gillian : If he wants to be friends with Robbie, fine. I hate him. Dozy pillock. But... He's Eddie's brother. And Raff has to make up his own mind about folk.

  Alan : I asked him not to tell you.

  Gillian : Yeah, and I appreciate that. I appreciate you interfering.

  [laughs] 

  Gillian : I love it when you interfere. But I'm not stopping him doing stuff he likes doing. He has to outgrow things, naturally, and then he won't resent people.
