The Shower Principle (#6.15)

Warning: Spoilers
Liz figures out that even though she thins her life is moving forward it is all the same. every year it repeats itself just with different people and she tries to change that. Jack tries to come up with a way to expand Kabletown and his idea at the end is couches. Hazel is terrorizing Jenna because she wants to be Liz's best friend.

Not a bad episode but nothing too extraordinary.

Still had some great scenes. Such as Liz's meditation when she talks to Jack.

For the most though this episode survives without a very crazy idea because of the characters who are always awesome.

Mayor MacCheese and Matrix

Warning: Spoilers
Peter Jessop is very commanding as the voice of Mayor MacCheese performing Macbeth. There are also some Matrixesque moments in this episode and somewhat quite surreal.

It's easy to forget that 30 Rock and Aaron Sorkin's Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip debuted on NBC at the same time. Conventional wisdom was that Sorkin's powerhouse series be the one that would survive the first season, with 30 Rock being a one season wonder. But history has proved otherwise.
