Promising Warning: Spoilers
First 2 episodes made me excited. Ercan Kesal is one of the greatest male artist in Turkish cinema. Merve Dizdars performance will be determinant for the rest of series. She is young but has a talent. Location of the series filming at Adana. Halil is the head of the family, always worry about family reputation. At Çukurova location, it is an important sociological obligation that you have to protect your family reputation what ever it takes. Because of this matter most of family members cant reach their desires. Public opinion determine their actions. Beton is the nephew of Halil. He is only innocent soul in this family. He will have critical role for the rest of the serie.

If you're looking for a new series that's action-packed with great acting
laural_wells5 September 2023
This is truly a non-stop action-packed series. The family dynamics of children vying for money and love are not new, but the outside dynamics are of today - old Turkey (vs the changing Turkey), the Syrian Civil War and refugees, U. S. money, Russian dealings, the drug trade...the plot lines are tight and the acting is top-notch - stand-out performances by the actors playing Beton, Tansu and Halil. The viewer finds himself torn as to which character to root for. The subtitles are excellent (no awkward Turkish-English translations). You won't be bored, and you will likely be hooked. Wondering if this may be the new Turkish series to be a hit worldwide - it's certainly superior to some of the previous blockbusters.

Is this Adana or somewhere else?

Warning: Spoilers
There are gaps in the backbone of the scenario that do not make sense. It is difficult to explain the export of citrus fruits to Syria, which has sufficient citrus production and even exports citrus fruits to Russia. Furthermore, the fact that there are no privately owned import-export ports in Turkey has been omitted. Even customs officers are not seen at the port. Moreover, an export port is not insured. It is difficult to believe that the events took place in Adana or even in Turkey due to the lack of such obligations arising from Turkey's administrative legistation. As a result, there are serious suspicions that the events were taken from another geography.
