MY FAVORITE AT PRESENT
merguen-0343024 November 2023
It's a great dizi. The actors are very successful. I hope it continues for a long time. The scenario sheds light on recent Turkish history, coups, and attempts by foreign interests to intervene in the country.

The most experienced character of the series, Macide Hanim (Mrs. Majede), is an actress with a very bright past in Turkish cinema. My favorite and very successful character I found is Sevda and Harun Bey as they are called in the series.

Unfortunately, many great series cannot reach the desired rating rates due to the wrong day and time selection of TV channels. Many TV series are canceled early due to other people's mistakes. I hope Dilek Tasi (Wishing Stone) stays on the air for a very long time.

A Gem and an Amazing Cast
tinasteimle3 December 2023
Dilek Tasi is set in the late 1980's. Mustafa is condemned to die for a crime he didn't commit. His young daughter is sent to an orphanage, then adopted by a wealthy family who wants to use one of her kidneys to save their young son. But at the mansion the little girl finds a savior, Figen.

Salih Bademci is in the leading role, where he belongs; he's a tremendous actor! His costar is Hazel Subasi, also extremely talented . Together they have great energy and amazing onscreen chemistry, which makes their roles natural and believable. This is often a weakness in Turkish series due to the laws of censorship in Turkiye. As a result, characters in serious relationships only hug, or when they're about to kiss, the phone rings, the dog barks, or the kid cries. In this series, they accomplish their goal of maintaining the standards of decency, while keeping the characters and their roles real.

I can't finish this review without mentioning another of my favorite Turkish actors, Ozan Dolunay. He plays the part of Figen's other love interest and,as always, he's fantastic!

To whom it may concern: Please, don't cancel Dilek Tasi, you have a winner!
