No parents in their right minds could view this film . . .

. . . and not immediately drive ALL their kids--whether 17 weeks or 17 years old--to the nearest pediatrician and demand that their offspring be given at least as many needles as the average porcupine possesses. DEFENSE AGAINST INVASION is the most one-sided, pro-jab message ever fashioned to support Universal Vaccination for All. Doubtless this motion picture is shown at the entrance to every Dizzy Theme Park worldwide, just before each young person's immunization passport card is scrutinized. This is likely why there are affiliated medical staff on hand at the gates to provide appropriate shots to those turned away because of missing and overdue jabs--all for reasonable "tourist rates--as well as why families' replacement tickets for post-quarantine returns bear only minimal added processing fees, rather than a steep premium charge for parents' initial child welfare lapses.

Dated yet Charming

This movie is a product of its time in many different ways, but there is still a significant magic that comes with this disney animation, even during wartimes. The science is very simplified and innaccurate in some areas, but as this was a propaganda film, the goal of this film was to encourage vaccination rather than provide a scientific background. The animation of this film is fantastic, though it's not much better or worse than other disney films of the time.

This review provides a glimpse of the past in an enjoyable way.
