Warning: Spoilers
When a politically active advocate fighting against human trafficking is found murdered, a state senator takes a strong interest in the investigation and assigns his aide to keep tabs on the investigation. Assistant Chief Taylor goes along with this but, of course, Raydor is extremely annoyed. Running concurrently with the investigation is the issue of Rusty's father who shows up unannounced with a social worker at the police station. He wants to meet Rusty but Rusty does nor want to meet him. Provenza steals the show in this episode. At one point he tells a colleague to call DDAHobbs to get over to the station because they "need a snake wrangler to work with our new political friends." He also has a feisty exchange with Rusty over how he has been behaving. As usual, the interview scenes are excellent and the scene where they trap the killer well done. The assistant chief gets in an amusing and suitable zinger at the end. Good show.
