Certainly an Improvement
A_Voice13 November 2013
This episode improves upon the flaws of previous 2 to 3 episodes. It is more intense, and darker than the previous.

It marks the end of the Onderon Arc, as the freedom struggle continues and Ashoka grows more concerned and insecure.

It seems strange as to why Dooku wouldn't create an International incident about Jedi or the republic helping terrorists. A well directed episode. One feels attached to the characters, even though it lacked Character development except Ashoka who grows mature and more responsible. CGI is also top notch.

Direction: Good.

Script: Good.

Music: Good.

A fitting and excellent end to an average arc.

Rebels

A great conclusion to the Ondaran story.

The well created characters get used well with their stories continuing to be convincingly portrayed.

The action steps up and is very entertaining plus there is some powerful emotion evoked through how engaging the characters are in this.

A nice step along the story of the origins of the rebellion.

My rating: 8.5/10.

The awesome power of...eight bazookas?
Ar_Pharazon_the_golden3 February 2023
Warning: Spoilers
The entire arc might be important for Ahsoka's development but suffers from the usual flaws: the separatists lack any common sense in ruling a planet and the "republic" (or its sympathisers) rebel...to restore a monarch (or is that Deckard Cain), as exactly zero advanced civilisations have democracy in this galaxy.

Here as the arc ends we get some drama and also some head scratching developments such as a two stop trip across the galaxy completed in about two hours as Anakin finds Hondo and he delivers weapons to the rebels before it even gets dark. Funnier still, the delivery that turns the tide of battle is eight bazookas. Which ok , is a step up from the rebels' previous strategy of riding alien horses and birds, but it doesn't feel like a game changing superweapon.
