I kept asking that question out loud while watching this movie. Who wrote this? I appreciate a veteran actor such as Monica Calhoun. She is what made me want to watch but it was comical, and not the suspenseful drama I believe the creator was going for. The story was written as if the son was age 5. And maybe it was and there was a casting issue. I'm not sure, but that was a huge problem. And skip over day visits? Ok. The detective's character was completely unbelievable. I've never seen a writer, not write in a partner for the detective. The lone detective's acting was subpar. There were lines missing in a lot of scenes. They were needed. Why didn't we see Vanessa's character do more with her information? Did we not have gauze on set? I'm confused. Nothing was realistic about this movie and it was a missed opportunity to dig deep into all of the characters. I wish I could write for these movies. A lot of them have the same context issues.

Vanessa can NOT act. The writer of this movie did not wrote a good attractive syory....the way the wife assumed her husband was cresying..just was not act

The acting was bad especially vanessa..she's pretty but could not Act at all. Her clothes were. Plain and she wore the Same clothes over and over. Why..the fight scene was so unreal....the knife omg...so phony....she stayed on the floor after rawlings around his dead body..lifting his eyes...craxy...she should give up acting.....and where were the young man's friends. The attorney was the best actress..showing some good acting skills ..the attorney was showing g love...and Vanessa just looked at her and she ever cried. Pretty house. The story went sideways..now hubby don't think it's deidre..but the wife does....ill never watch again.

Horrible Acting

Ooh Lord I don't know what's worse, the horrible plot or horrible acting,the director and the person who hired the actors should be fired, it was like watching a life time movie from shein 🤣🤣🤣, i don't k ow if they were working on a tight budget because WOW🤞🤞🤞 i love Monica Calhoun however in this movie her acting was horrible, she is not the Best Man Monica Calhoun i know, her wardrobe was off as well i dont know if its due to them trying to hide the pregnancy clearly they did a horrible job because her bumb was visible like 90% of the movie, her character ex husband is a tall handsome horrible actor too, the story line was all over the place, the lawyer girl gave her 100 i dont wanna lie she is the only person who went all out for her character. The Tammy character was worse 😭🤣🤞, after the stabbing part I laughed so hard I ain't seen no fake play like that🤣🤣🤣🤣, how do you stay calm and not call the police after someone attacks you??? The strength to look at their texts was a icing on top 🤣🤣I just said Wow, as for the zeeke character I have no words, no words can start to phantom how i felt after seeing the scene, how do you enter a persons home not call out and just go to the kitchen and start kissing them that is just insane come on, in this day and age you wouldn't think a set up??????? I just wish I would look the director in the eyes and ask him WTF 😒 i am so disappointed in the whole movie.
