I just fell in love with Parker Posey

I love this show so much.. The characters are so wonderfully weird, alive and funny.. But Parker Posey is in a league of her own. What an energy and heartbreaking performance. If I could find a woman like this I would wear dress all the time for her..

"L'appel Du Vide"

"But the only way I fall is if I jumped. That's why you're afraid to come over here, because a tiny part of you wants to jump, because it would be so easy."

This particular scene was incredibly powerful and left a deep impact on me. The idea of "the call of the void," the urge to engage in self-destructive behavior, was depicted in a masterful way through the writing, directing, and acting. It is a feeling that many can relate to, the allure of giving in to the dark thoughts and ending it all, even though it's just a small part of us. The show as a whole is a work of art, and Louis CK's abilities as a writer and director are second to none, particularly in tackling such heavy and emotional themes. The emotional resonance of this episode stayed with me long after watching it.

"L'appel du vide" is a French phrase that translates to "the call of the void" in English. It refers to the spontaneous and overwhelming urge to engage in dangerous or self-destructive behavior. This can manifest in many different ways, such as the desire to jump off a tall building, drive into oncoming traffic, or even commit suicide. The term is often used to describe feelings of impulsivity and recklessness that can be difficult to control.
