Emily sets up a situation where Daniel has all the information he needs to bring his family down, and he doesn't take it, in another episode of the she that is clearly building towards a big 1st series finale.

Great stuff.

Warning: Spoilers
The overriding thought that came up to me watching this, is that if Daniel now knows the family secret, then the whole reason for the show's existence is coming to an end, because once the secret is out, there'd be no reason for three more seasons. Then I guessed that Daniel hasn't really been let in on the full truth by Conrad, it would be the only explanation. This is only speculation, your guess is as good as mine. I don't take peeks up ahead.

Whichever way it turns out, the series early on, as mentioned in earlier reviews, seemed an unlikely candidate for a full four seasons, as the whole plot is going to hinge on Victoria and Conrad and Daniel and Jack not knowing Emily's motives, and the Graysons not being dense characters, this current premise is bound to wear thin after more than twenty episodes onwards, let's not even talk about the reality of the more than sixty lying up ahead.

Perhaps this should have been a 22 episode mini-series?

Only time will tell what I'd think about it by the Final Season. But already they are on thin ice with this episode. Not that much to get excited about. Emily is coldly aiming to marry Daniel and ride the Graysons to hell, and kill whoever is responsible for the death of her father. Nothing new there.

Only point of interest was Christa B. Allen, who as Charlotte during an off time, stressed out and morose, wasn't as exciting as in the other episodes, but still giving the more watch-worthy performance. Okay, so she's my favorite, I'm biased on this subject, but Emily is a cold dark- minded heroine that doesn't really live up to expectations (though I know the majority of REVENGE fans would disagree, but they'd be missing the point I'm trying to make)
