"My sister's in a coma, Dex, she might die.All that takes precedence over everything else right now."

Warning: Spoilers
Jett's back. This is not necessarily good news, since it means a recurrence of some bad behaviour on certain characters' parts.Xavier's lack of sympathy towards him is disappointing but Gina is so self-righteous(and her comment about Xavier hardly being at home so telling) that it's hard to be on her side either. At least we have John to root for, willing to give Jett a chance but not under any illusions about him.And at least someone has the sense to deal with the issue realistically instead of letting Jett stay with Gina on a whim.

It feels like we've rewound a year as we're back to Dexter wallowing in self-pity and acting the victim because he made an inappropriate pass at April and got turned down.Even worse, Sasha then has a go at April for not tiptoeing around Dexter when she's got far bigger things than his adolescent angst to worry about.Their eventual reunion scene is gut wrenchingly awful, every bad romantic cliché slammed in together to try and convince us that they're remotely right for each other. It would be even worse if not for a nicely judged scene with Irene, who makes some good points to April. And in the midst of all this, we get a scene between Dexter and Lottie which reminds us we could have had something so much better.

In fact, Lottie's storyline is the best thing about this episode as she shows maturity beyond her years in handling the problem with Melissa. Alf's still in grumpy old man mode but seems to have rediscovered his lost compassion, Harvey steps up to the plate and does the best thing for his family and Melissa finally becomes more than just a terrible mother and horrible ex-wife.Having Lottie at the caravan park for a while is certainly no bad thing.
