Pointless filler

It's best to simply skip this episode. There is no new content in it.

This feels like the old friends episode where they just play short fragments of previous episodes. I don't understand how anyone could like this.

I finally started watching the 2011 Hunter x Hunter series.

So far, it was mostly okay (I still prefer the 1999 series, but I guess the series will start getting really good in the Chimera Ant arc, or so I've heard.)

But come on, we are only 13 episodes in, and there is already a clipshow?

I mean, there is some sweetness in Gon sending a letter to Mito telling his adventures. (And there is some dark comedy potential for the cheerful way in which he narrates how his new friend ripped the heart out of a guy, but unfortunately this episode does not take advantage of that)

An entirely skippable episode.
