Sorority Meanies

Warning: Spoilers
Sorority college graduates resuming torture after ten years? Unlikely.

But for some reason they did and daddy makes them pay!

In brutal sadistic fashion.

Fans of movies like "Death Wish" will enjoy this episode.

In the early Kim Delaney episodes I blew off this show. Now, watching reruns with Eva Larue I find it very enjoyable. No multi episode arcs or soap like BS. Just meat'n'potatoes crime stories with good and good looking actors.

Good scripts and cinematography too.

Like a Luca Guadagnino Movie

That episode was perfect, in all his themes and details. Also it was perfect the scene of the death with the Nessun Dorma tune by the great and late Giacomo Puccini, one of the most famous composer in the world and also in Italy, and the cameo of the great Bo Derek, one of the most beautiful and unforgettable actress of the 80's. The atmosphere of the episode, and also the incursion of the modern and the old music, in particular the orchestral music, he remember to me of a movie by Luca Guadagnino, because also of the lights and the camera use that was perfect, and let's not forget the perfect use of the music and the cast of the episode, a very awesome cast for a very awesome episode. To see many times.

Simply the worst

The writing for CSI/Miami has never been particularly good. The show has always leaned heavily on Miami's beautiful scenery (of various sorts) to sustain its appeal. That said, many episodes have had adequate writing. This is not one of them. Scripts for this show are often manipulated to cast Horatio Caine in an exaggerated hero's light, but seldom has this been attempted in such an obvious, mechanical, and sterile manner. The plotting of the story line is considerably more hackneyed than normal. The characters are equally wooden and lifeless regardless of whether or not they are slated for autopsy. The acting efforts of both Jill Flint and Bo Derek are completely wasted, since they have been saddled with dialog and direction that must have required ipecac to regurgitate.
