An Enjoyable Slice of Fun

While Milton Jones has a great comedy style that truly resonates with a lot of people, he has yet to devise his own show. House of Rooms was a pilot that was packed with potential and fun, but sadly never came to be it's own series.

It's refreshing to watch an episode like this because, although you're always questioning the bizarre shifts in tone, you're enjoying the freshness and originality of it's gags.

Although there have been so many sit-coms, this is the first one in a long time that has felt like a burst of refreshing energy. Milton Jones shows his ability as an actor brilliantly, giving a fun performance that consistently resonated with me.

The gags are true Milton style, clean and safe, but clever and fun, which is one of the reason I love Milton anyway, but this takes it up another level.

Now obviously, it's all nonsense, and that's where the fun is. Milton Jones doesn't need to worry about everything making sense and following a stable narrative, it's all about making the audience laugh as much as you can, and that he achieves.

Would I have liked this to become a full series? Well, yeah. I would've liked to have seen where Milton could have gone with it. There was some great potential with this series and it's a shame we never got to see that.

All in all, I'm highly looking forward to whatever Milton has planned next.
