Slow and boring psychological drama that builds to, um, nothing
jackmeat19 February 2016
My quick rating - 2,4/10. Slow and boring psychological drama that builds to, um, nothing. Glad it was only 80 minutes long. Woman wakes up in a room with no idea of who took her or why. With clues from the room, she must piece together why she is being held captive. This will lead the viewers on a mundane journey filled with boredom right up to the really stupid and ridiculous ending. I can't really comment about things such as acting, effects, camera work. They are all non-existent and the scenery is someones finished extra room built in their basement. Here is the part that I have to just type more for length and I don't really have more to say about this movie. I am talking myself into rating this lower so i'll shut up.

I did watch to the end...
faradaygrean5 March 2016
Warning: Spoilers
It starts out with a woman, gagged and bound, tossed and locked in a room.

First of all, the main character doesn't get top billing? What's that about... she's 8th! And top billing goes to.... "Minion #2"!

I kept waiting for something to happen. Instead it just kinda drags along. And the end was disappointing. The only reason I watched to the end was because I had hope.

But, at the end, everything is dumped on your lap.

I'll watch almost anything. This is very low-budget- it's filmed in someone's basement (I don't know, really, but probably). The actors are unknown, I'm sure they did the best they could with what the had. The story had potential. There's no build, climax. And right when you think the story's not going anywhere they send someone in to explain it all.

I HAVE A FAMILY AND MORTGAGE!
nogodnomasters2 May 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Dr. Emily Burns (Marisa Ruby) is locked in a trailer room. Her captors want her to remember what she did January 11th and she hasn't a clue so they dunk her head in a plastic bucket of water. This goes on for a while then they give her some clues...like the year, but her memory is foggy. The audience has no idea either, and since there was no character build-up or previous knowledge it is impossible for us to guess or care.

When we do find out why, it becomes a big "huh?" They did what? Because of what? It didn't make any sense. Her whispers were hard to understand too. Anyone who has lived in a trailer could have opened that door in less than 2 minutes and find a bathroom.

Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity. Cheap paneling and carpeting. Worse than Saw 3.

Um.... Okay then....

The title sure fits this movie lol. It's all one giant riddle, including the ending which is probably one of the worst endings of any movie I have ever seen. Just before the credits rolled, I didn't know how much longer there is till the end so I had some hope thinking okay now we will see what's going on (trying not to spoil anything). But alas, no. There was absolutely no ending to this film. No resolution whatsoever. The only thing I will give this movie is that it at least explained who and what was going on. But it just feels unfinished. As if the movie cut to the credits half way through. What a disappointment.

I would honestly not recommend anyone watch this film. I can handle quite a lot of horrible movies and some I actually even enjoy. Even with the extremely low budget and mediocre acting, if there would have just been a proper ending I would have given it a 6 and told you guys that you should give it a shot. But there is nothing that irks me more in movies and TV shows than an unfinished product.

Do yourselves a favour and skip this one. There are plenty of similar titles which are way better executed (some suggestions would be Identity and Memento but there are a ton of others worth watching).
