In 1974 a Taiwanese producer decided to exploit Bruce persona, so they put on screen Ho Chung Tao, a former taiwanese stuntmen already seen as bit-player and extra, giving to him the name Lai Hsiao Lung. Vaguely factual and largely invented, this very first example of what we call now Bruceploitation sold well on international market under titles Bruce lee, Bruce Lee story, Bruce Lee A dragon story, Dragon dies hard. Some real things like the clash between Bruce and Lo Wei and the love-affair between the King of Kung-Fu and Betty Ting Pei are here, with changed names of course. Actually the story concerns more about the love affair than the fights. Some insert from Korean actioner Left foot of wrath starring Han yong Cheol is shown when we see Bruce directing a movie. Average but an archive curiosity for Bruceploitation fans.
