I'll start by saying I'm a big fan of Journey, and I really enjoyed this concert. There's a big controversy among Journey purists whether Arnel Pineda measures up to the task. As far as I'm concerned there's no question that he does, and this concert proves it. He does an outstanding job as lead vocalist. I'm really impressed with his range and how close his voice sounds to Steve Perry's. He carries great energy onto the stage. Of course Neal Schon does a stellar job on lead guitar, however, my one gripe with this concert is that the mix is excessively heavy on lead guitar, sometimes to the point that the rest of the band could stop playing and you might not even notice. They could dial down Schon's guitar a tiny bit so we could enjoy some of the other talent in the band, of which there is plenty. And Schon slips a guitar solo in almost every song, which is great for a while, but really it's a Journey concert, not a Neal Schon concert. But all minor criticism aside, this is a great concert, and anyone who likes Journey will enjoy it.
