New York: Following a sold-out, award-winning Hollywood production of Tripping on Life, legendary, Emmy-winning actress Lin Shaye is bringing her solo show to New York City. Directed by Robert Galinsky, Tripping on Life will begin previews on September 8 before its opening night on Monday, September 18, at 6:30 Pm. It will run through October 8, 2023 at Theatre Row, located at 410 West 42 Street.
Tripping on Life is executive produced by Robert Shaye. Robert is the founder of New Line Cinema and was its CEO for many years. He and his company are responsible for some of the most successful franchises in film history, including “A Nightmare on Elm Street” and “Lord of the Rings.

Lifetime is another channel that releases new and exclusive holiday movies as part of the “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” campaign, starting in November and running all through December.

UK-based sales and distribution firm 101 Films International has acquired world sales rights excluding the US for Christmas feature Santa Bootcamp starring West Side Story’s Rita Moreno.

We don’t even have the full list of movies for the 2022 It’s a Wonderful Lifetime Holiday slate, but the more names that are added, the more must-see it sounds. The latest announcement includes a Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman reunion with Jane Seymour and Joe Lando, Grammy winners Toni Braxton and Kirk Franklin executive producing, and Jodie Sweetin joining the Lifetime holiday family to kick off the slate on November 5. These three new films join previously announced ones including Santa Bootcamp starring Rita Moreno and directed by Melissa Joan Hart, Steppin’ into the Holidays with Mario Lopez and Jana Kramer, A New Orleans Noel starring Patti Labelle and Keshia Knight Pulliam from EP Whoopi Goldberg, and A Country Christmas Harmony with Brooke Elliott. Lifetime is reuniting “Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman” co-stars Jane Seymour and Joe Lando in a holiday movie this year, Variety can exclusively announce. The duo will star in “A Christmas Spark,” executive produced by Toni Braxton. Variety can also reveal that the network’s “It’s a Wonderful Lifetime” lineup will also feature two more films on its 2022 slate: “Merry Swissmas,” starring Jodie Sweetin and Tim Rozon; and “Kirk Franklin’s the Night Before Christmas,” starring Naturi Naughton and Luke James.
