I love the writing and the chemistry of the cast. The beauty of Lisa and the strong male role of Anthony is also a plus. The comedy comes off natural. It may be that the two main characters have known each other for a long time. However it works. Keep it going. Good to have on the air.I look forward to seeing more sitcoms on Bounce. Let's hope that good writing, great actors and clean wholesome situations can last. I'm hungry for more of this type sitcom. The Stallworth family is growing on many Americans. I have heard many people talk as positive on the show as I have mentioned. it is the talk of the town in barber shops and beauty parlors in this area. i can't wait to see the Stallworths go on a trip criuse or a trip to Europe. There are so many options for situations for them.
I STARTED BINGE WATCHING THIS AFTER SEASON 6 I AM STARTING TO GET REAL ANNOYED THAT TONY KEEPS TALKING BAD ABOUT THE SISTERS AND KEEPS REFERRING TO THEM AS MONKEYS, ETC. THE WHOLE SHOW GETS DULL AFTER THE FIFTH SEASON. YOU NEVER REALLY SEE THE KIDS YET IT IS CALLED FAMILY TIME.

Excellent show.
At first i didnt like the show. I think it was because i saw S1 or S2 episode on tv. FYI S1 and 2 are their 👎🏾 seasons.
S3 on up! Those are great! Great cast and storyline.
Hope they keep going especially since Blackish is on its last season.

I watch Family Time with my child and husband and we all enjoy this show. I hope that they will give us new seasons. For now I will watch the reruns. The actors are great, the jokes are relevant and the wardrobe looks nice too. The temporary rental episode with Michelle Williams as a guest star is my favorite episode so far. We no longer have many sitcoms for the whole family so it is a relief to see this depiction of a black family. I enjoy seeing the relationship that Anthony Stallworth (Omar Gooding) has with his wife, children and friends. Lisa Stallworth (Angell Conwell) looks amazing as a mother and wife. Her character is spicy, humble, and intelligent. These roles look great on both actors. I recommend this show to families and anyone who enjoys a great sitcom.

I just watched Season 1 episode 1 and 2 and I am not planning to watch anymore. In the first episode, the little girl is distraught because she loses her favorite doll in their move from one community to another. In an effort to overcome her sorrow, she pours a sugary drink into four shot glasses. The family finds her behavior overly dramatic but does not deal with the fact this child is on the path to becoming an alcoholic. Simply... unbelievable. I don't know of any parent who would not find this behavior troublesome. Also, in the second episode, the father coaxes his 10 year old or possibly 11 year old son into spending the weekend with his parents by telling the son that he could find x-rated magazines hidden inside the family's encyclopedia. Again, this sitcom is terrible and degrading. We, as a community, deserve better.

I've been watching this show on the network Bounce. I thought it was cancelled then I realized there was an up-and-coming season about to start..... however the previews didn't have Omar Goodings characters wife from the previous seasons , Angell Conwell. What happened to her character or is this another Aunt Viv vs. Aunt Viv?

This show is terrible and poorly depicts the Black Family. In season 1 episode 1 the daughter, who is only about 7 years old, appears to be on the path of becoming an alcoholic. Basically, during their move from one community to another, the child loses her favorite doll. To overcome her pain, she pours, a red sugary drink, into four shot glasses and pretends to be intoxicated. The parents finds the behavior to be comical and encourages her not to be overly dramatic. Now, a good parent would not describe this child's behavior as being overly dramatic but would immediately reach out to a mental health provider for counseling. The parents in this show do not represent anyone that I know. To make matters worse, in episode 2 of that same season, the parents are looking forward to spending quality time away from the kids, so they send them to spend the weekend with their grandparents. Unfortunately, Junior, (who is only about 11 years old) has decided that he is too old for overnight stays. In an effort to coaxes his son into going the father tells him that their are X-rated magazines hidden in the family's encyclopedia, so of course Junior decides to go. Again, the characters in this sit-com do not represent anyone that I know. On behalf of the Black Community and Family, stop producing images that degrade our families. We are deserve to see ourselves in a positive light.

It hurts my heart to see that they are very little family sitcoms on TV today. There's so many other options on TV and there's nothing that as a black man I can relate to. But family time is a breath of fresh air and and it is quite good. Writing is very relatable and sensible. It's fills my heart with joy to see black comedy and black actors on TV, keep up the good job.

That's the first issue I have. Secondly they try to be sexy on this show. The woman who plays the wife doesn't do a good job at all. In fact there was one episode with her cleavage out and you could see up her dress. That mostly not her fault that would be the directors fault for even allowing that. Like you couldn't do another angle?
Omar Goodings acting is strong and the celebrity guests are alright. Paula Jai Parker knows what shes doing and wouldve been a better choice as the wife. But, the wife and two kids make this show irritating to watch. They dont let the jokes simmer, they finally do something funny then cut to something else or commercial. No pause. This show is only good to see what the modern classic stars have been up to Like Omar Gooding Puala Jai Parker and a few others who occasionally make an apperance. The jokes and some episode are just not funny or are just mean. The vibe of the trailor & intro doesn't match the show
Direction is awful and they shouldv'e casted better actors and stopped with all they sexy stuff.
