Not a real fan of this episode but let's say it was decent.

"Nobody wants your your mustache rides around here, buster!"

"The Man from Jupiter" is probably one of my very favorite pieces of television ever, not just as an episode of "Archer". It's got the show's signature snarky sense of humor, speedy dialogue Cuban hit squads and even Sterling's sweet Challenger in a climactic car chase. Strong episode is an understatement, this is bloody hilarious.

And that doesn't even cover the pièce de résistance: it's a guest star episode, and it's as good as they come. Archer finally meets his childhood hero/man crush Burt Reynolds (cue the references to all of his movies), and I love that Burt was good-natured enough to be here. It works best as a one-off, but the stars aligned on this one.

My Favorite Archer

The story was good, but that's not what made it my favorite... Any guy that hit puberty in the 1970's knew who the coolest man in the world was: Burt Reynolds. He was a very good actor with a great ability to pick horrible roles... but the good ones he did make, and his swagger, made him a mega-celebrity. Seeing him look like he used to through animation, hearing his trademark laugh, and living through Archer's fanboy excitement, made this my favorite episode of the series.
