An amazing ending to a show that will never be forgotten
ThomasP90913 February 2021
This ending had me tearing up because I didn't want this show to end. This show was masterful and amazing in all ways. I wish I could send a D-mail to watch it over and over again. This ending was perfect, it was even better than I even thought it was going to be. Steins gate is one of the greatest animes of all time.

Happy Ending
peterfmodel30 September 2019
This is a fun episode, with the mandatory happy ending and with some risks and sacrifices along the way. The ending is reasonably predictable but getting there is so much fun that is not an issue. A great way to end a series. Although we still have the OVA and movie to get through, so hold on to your seat folks.

I guess that's the end

Well I suppose it's not the real end since there is two more episodes that I'm confused if I should watch or not. However great thrilling emotional ending. Slightly predictable, but all the good stuff about this episode completely covers that up. Sad the series is over though.

Based on Visual Novel Game
cuvtixo-136 April 2023
This is adequately described and it's difficult to add more without spoilers. But this is based on a 2009 video game, more specifically, a type of "point and click" adventure that's called a Visual Novel. Obviously, in the game you can make different choices, but the film is a linear narrative, so the experience can't really compare. It's a well-done adaptation I think, but I understand why perhaps to people who played the game it might seem simplistic. There just isn't the ability to have alternate endings, or alternate endings. Another anime adaptation was made in 2018 of Steins;Gate 0, the sequel to the original Steins;Gate game, premiered in 2018.

A normal ending
hadymnka1 October 2021
If the scientific complexities of this anime are ignored, the characters and comedy and story and the rest of things are very simple, and with the exception of a few climaxes, the rest of the story is very simple and rudimentary. And they are less attractive than other works made about time travel. Eventually, this short and simple adventure of ours, as it began, its will end and no particular change is felt.
