This is probably one of the most tragic episodes of the show. Other than the "Guardians of the Galaxy" guest staring. The real focus is of course on Michael, hence the title.

It's a really unique story where for once it's actually focused on an ordinary guy. It's interesting how for once this is about someone that was in the background which I sometimes find the most interesting stories because sometimes whenever I watch shows like "G.I. Joe" I sometimes wonder who is that guy and girl, what are they thinking, what is their life like.

I like the certain amount of depth they give to this guy which made me feel all the more sad for the guy, this was a guy that had aspirations in life but now have been robbed from him; from not just the physical damage done but years of his life stolen. Most of the time whenever villains or super villains commit certain crimes and actions we always hear or are hinted at it but it's always indirect but here we see for once those action actually have weight and really do have dire consequences and that the fight against them really isn't a game.

After a fight and a little misunderstanding we then all unfortunately get a rude awakening when we hear from the Guardians that Michael is dangerous and has become psychotic. The Krell made him into a living super weapon by granting him powers to destroy whole planets. Michael has taken up his revenge but unfortunately he did even more after as we discover he's destroy so many more worlds, in his diseased mind any planet that is alien to him is considered a threat and evil.

The Avengers of course want to capture and help Michael, despite this noble intention I personally wasn't sure they really can. Yes, Michael was human but not anymore from committing acts of genocide and psychological state that guy is gone. Also, what Michael has is a mental disease with no cure. In a way the whole thing is like that terrible dilemma of putting down a rabid dog, but you knew it was once a dog like any other.

It then comes down to a pivotal and tragic moment just when Michael is about to destroy Earth, his promised love comes though to him, which awakens the human inside Michael for a moment causing him to do what he has to, to save her from him.

In the fight between superheroes and super villains it's always the innocent that pay the most.
