The movie has 4 short films...
1st film talks abt caste and racism but really not strong one..
2nd film is comedy genre but can't laugh but ending has some twists...
3rd film try to horror thriller but really cliche one..we would seen plenty of stories lik tat..
4th film pure thriller...Amalapaul Paul and Prasanna acted soo well..average one..

Just Watched Dhammam
sangarrajan5 August 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Just Watched Dhammam - Didnt Watch The Other Three .
Dhammam Starts With A Budha Statue And A Little Girl Standing On Top Of The Statue . It Doesnt Feel Like The Girl Is Disrespecting Budha Or Something , It Feels Like The Girl Is Budha's Child . The Girl Is Constantly Getting Adviced By Her Father To Be Quiet But She Always Refusing To Listen To Her Father .
If You Think The Refusal Of The Girl To Be Quiet Is The Main Reason For This Conflict To Arise , I Think You Are Still Immature . The Problem Arises From The Arrogance Of The Character Played By 'Kalaiarasan' . The Arrogance Of The Character To Leave Way To A Girl From An Opressed Community Starts Everything.
Pa. Ranjith Always Leaves Us With A Wide Amount Of Understanding And A Realisation Of How Wrong We Have Understood The Topic He Is Talking .
'Ange Oruthan Uyirukku Pooraaditu Irrukan . Nee Enna Adikrathuku Vanthutiya ?' Even If Your Brother Is In A Stage Of Dying . You Are So Intrested On Killing The Man Who Touched Your Brother .
Pa. Ranjith Even Extends The Fight Scenes To Be Long Enough To Make The Audience Restless .
Pa. Ranjith Wanted The Audience To Be Tensed About The Dying Man In Every Second These Men Are Fighting Here . Pa. Ranjith Is Successful.
Even If Im Here To Save You From Dying , You Wanted To Kill Me Because Of My Community ! What A Blind Man Are You ?
Even If You Want To Kill Me , Im Gonna Save You If You're In Danger Because Thats What I Am .
Pa. Ranjith ! Take A Bow King.

Finally a tamil Anthology with no dull episodes
vishalv-734475 August 2022
EPISODE 1 : Pa. Ranjith as usual delivers a realistic as well as a highly engaging drama. The best of the anthology.
EPISODE 2 : M. Rajesh's Thriller, as mentioned, is not particulary a thriller. The first 20 minutes of the film feels like a long drawn out one. But the final 15 minutes makes up for it. A Passable film in the anthology.
EPISODE 3 : Chimbu Devan's episode is a good one, especially for the way it ended. The film never felt boring, thanks to the dialogues. A good watch !
EPISODE 4 : Venkat Prabhu's 'Call' is easily the most favourite one for me in the anthology. Though Ranjith's episode is the best of the anthology, VP's one is even more entertaining and has a thrill factor more than the first episode. At the same time, the climax is quite confusing, as we think whether there is a logical mistake, or we didn't understand it. Though the first few minutes moves at a slow pace, the film picks up gradually and gets interesting towards the end. A great one from VP ! Can be watched again..

Saw the first episode Dhammam except the tall dark guy in white shirt and white flowing lungi nothing is worth watching. Very poor script, bad direction equally poor acting. Instead of feeling sympathy for the man and his daughter they instead look like arrogant characters. The fight scenes is amateur looks like small children fighting among themselves. The emotional scenes of father and father looks comical.
