I have already commented this TV series, probably the most powerful in the history of the french crime TV industry. But I probably did not insist enough on one point. Very important point. And I say to myself that I have to warn the viewers who have still not watched this. As I said in my previous comments, it is a very intense, high rate crime flick, full of suspense and action sequences that stick you to your seat. And the editing is a real masterpiece, although it may be hard to follow, especially for those who watch the episodes at the airing pace - two every week, each Monday evening. I watched them nearly in a row, on three days only, and it was not easy for me to get everything; there are many subplots. But I love this. So, I won't complain...
But the thing I absolutely want to talk about and insist on is this.
The actors are OVERACTING, OVERPLAYING, and this push me to the limits. And the ending of the last episode announces a third season. I won't miss it. ANNOYING at the most. Somewhere, I find they lose all their credibility. I have never seen this before. I don't remember if this was like this in the first season; I guess not at this level. I won't say that they are genuinely bad actors, but here, they are far away from they should have play for this gripping story. When I watch classic crime films from France, destined for theatre releases, the acting is not the same. More realistic, I should say.
