This episode sees the group get yet another visitor; this one is a young werewolf called Allison. She is the polar opposite of Tom; intelligent, well read and would rather engage in debate than stick a stake into a vampire. She has come to Barry to find Tom after seeing him on YouTube! Tom isn't the only one of the group making a new acquaintance; Hal gets invited out on a date by a beautiful girl called Alex and Annie ends up spending most of her time with an elderly ghost called Emry; not that she can really complain, she killed him! While Tom and Allison are trying to discover who is posting about werewolves on the internet some new vampires arrive to prepare the way for the old ones. Cutler isn't too happy to have them taking over his patch and isn't too sad when they start dying.
This episode was a lot of fun with some laugh out loud moments. There were a good number of new characters although it looked like most of them were one episode characters which is a pity as they were rather good. While there were nods to the ongoing story arch this was basically another stand alone episode where problems raised early on were solved by the end. With all the mentions of the old ones this series I'm looking forward to their arrival; I just hope they live up to the hype given them by the other vampires!
