Sex & Nudity

  • One man's naked buttocks are clearly shown from several angles, including very close-up.
  • A soldier is reading a magazine about women. We see the cover of the magazine, which depicts a topless woman, however we do not see her breasts. This is very brief, only a second or two.
  • A young man suddenly kisses a girl he is on a date with. After a moment she pulls a way and slaps him, but continues the date.
  • A few instances of men and women kissing briefly, with nothing more.
  • A man stands in a room shirtless, as his wife enters wearing modest lingerie. They kiss and recline as the scene ends, implying sex.

Violence & Gore

  • The battle scenes are very graphic, realistic, and absolutely spine chilling to watch. They are long, and filled with bloody gunfire, graphic stabbings with knives and bayonets, and many explosions which separate limbs and leave blood everywhere. Guts, limbs, intestines, and blood everywhere.
  • A soldier is shown with his legs blown off. Bloody strings of fat and muscle are shown protruding from his legs. His femur and tibia bones are shown for several seconds
  • A soldier is slowly crawling through the battlefield. A wounded soldier starts screaming in front of the soldier. A gunshot is heard and the screaming soldier takes a bullet to the back of the head, splattering brain matter all over the face of the soldier. Then they are both ripped apart with bullets.
  • A character close to a grenade explosion is flung backwards. His legs and thighs are shown bloodied and burned.
  • There are soldiers burned alive by flamethrowers.
  • A boy hits another boy in the head with a brick while they are fighting
  • A man has his leg crushed by a car which gives him compound fracture and causes blood to spurt out of his leg
  • A man smashes a glass bottle, cutting his hand
  • A man throws a knife into another man's foot
  • A man punches a man in the face
  • A group of men beat up a man which results with the man bloody and bruised
  • Soldiers being riddled with bullets through torsos, legs, and heads with blood spurting out.
  • Explosions from grenades, mortars, and RPGs that cause some lost of limbs and tissue damage.
  • Soldiers being stabbed/bayoneted and beaten up with fists.
  • Some soldiers are decapitated and commit suicide with self stabbing and kamikaze attacks.
  • There are soldiers dead on the ground with intestines strewn out and missing limbs on the ground which also on some bodies have rotting flesh with maggots and rats feeding off of the bodies

  • 'Sh*t' is said at least five times.
  • '*ss' is said seven times.
  • 'Son of a b*tch' is said six times.
  • 'D*mn' is said at least four times.
  • 'God' is said as an exclamation three times.
  • 'H*ll' is said over 12 times.

  • 'Nip' is said as a racial insult.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man is seen drinking whiskey from a bottle during the day. He is later described as being an alcoholic.
  • Many soldiers smoke cigarettes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A fistfight between two young brothers. One hits the other with a brick, who is immediately knocked out and implied that he might be dead.
  • A man beats his wife and threatens her with a gun. His teenage son enters the room, takes the gun as it fires, and then points it at his father.
  • A few jump scares.
  • The many battle scenes are long, gruesome, loud, and hectic.
  • While in battle, the main character is constantly in danger, and sometimes being pursued.
  • The deaths and injuries of some characters may be difficult to see.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • One particular frightening scene is when one soldier whom is thought to be dead gets up and screams. As he screams his face is shot off in close up.
