This was the first episode of phase 3 and i have to admit i was not too impressed however i was glad that the teams were 5 people each because the group together is always fun. Gon was an enjoyable character as always to watch and Tonpa and Leorios arguments are pretty entertaining. However, the thing that made this episode bad was that there was too much waiting around. There was not much to it and certainly didnt bring the excitement like in Showdown x on the x Airship or Hisoka x is x Sneaky.
Summary: Phase 3 is about to start when the airship arrives at a huge castle that looks like a prison. They are given 72 hours to get to the bottom of the tower to pass the challenge. However they need to have groups of 5. The group that us as viewers have our eyes on consists of Gon, Killua, Kurapika, Leorio and Tonpa. Tonpa is trying to get our team to lose and Leorio gets mad because of this. In the end, the group find themselves against five prisoners and learn that they have to engage in a 1 on 1 battle using each person. Tonpa forfeits his battle instantly and the next match is with Gon.
