WILL YOU HELP ME
nogodnomasters3 August 2018
Warning: Spoilers
Sara (Aurelia Riley) is recently divorced and has some self esteem and emotional issues as she moves into her new apartment. The apartment is haunted by the boy on the cover (Ryan Quinn Smith). Sara consults a psychic (Warwick Davis) and is aided by her high testosterone neighbor, Tommy (Patrick Flanagan).

Sara paints and has the annoying habit of frequently showering with her back to the camera. The ghost causes havoc but wasn't particularly frightening. The best part of the film is Sara fending off young Tommy. The movie moves along as expected. The ending has a wicked twist which I enjoyed and didn't see coming. At this point I liked the movie more, but failed to capture the genius of the work having been lulled into a state of mediocrity while watching it.

Parental Guide: No f-bombs, sex, or nudity. Some suggestive talk.

Thought the movie was excellent
usmarly4812 July 2012
Absolutely love the clip and the little boy Ryan Smith did an excellent job ,He had me wanting to see much more or this movie .Can't wait for it to come out to see the rest, The suspense was great, i like the actors, I thought they did excellent as well, ,the scenes were very realistic , The bathroom scene was good, as well as the way he just seemed to appeared at the different intervals through out the clip. the makeup on him was very realistic and , the other actors were most convincing, would like to know when this will be in the cinema so I may recommend it to others as well. All the way around it was just excellent. did not notice where this movie took place ,but it was a job well done , will there be future films like this one in the future?? The writers and producers and the directors seemed to have got a hit as far as I can tell and will be looking forward to more in the future, Hope it will be out soon

And the cycle keeps going ...
jerry0717 March 2014
Warning: Spoilers
The story-line could have been OK although at the end, while we get the extent of the "trap" and the cycle, we do not really understanding why this happening. And it is hard to understand some of the plot's line (so many holes) - why the scary neighbor trash journals? what do they contain? why is he turning into a psycho wanting to kill her if he was such a good guy? And it goes on. The music and suspense could also have been better but badly orchestrated, I would say that every horror / fright scene turn into a cliché.

To top that, boy! The acting is far below poor: the dialog sound like every actor is reciting from a print out during a first time actor selection (here is a screenplay, have 2 minutes to rehearse and let's shoot). The intonations are near emotionless and the dynamic is flat. Too bad, could have been a good one.

Pedestrian thriller
tonz-4227318 October 2016
I really was expecting better, but this film was even worse than anything I've seen on Lifetime. Although the plot was intriguing, the script, the dialogue, the acting, and the direction were all sub-par. It could have been handled so much better. Low budget movies don't have to be bad, but it seems that these filmmakers were trying their best to make a bad movie. And Daniel Baldwin...my, my, he really must have desperately needed a paycheck! In fact, that appears to be the case with all the other actors as well. I will say, however, that the little boy, with nary a line of dialogue, conveyed more in his performance than any of the other actors combined.

What a piece of garbage!!!
emyredrock10 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
My Lord how some of the worst movie manage to get funding, it is a puzzle to me, And why they always have the annoying sexist idiot character drooling over the girl (rolling my eyes). The acting in this movie is horrible, at times over-inflated that make the characters look and sound nagging and artificial.the plot was cliché, done it a dozen times much better than this, and the intonation of the dialog/lines was a ridiculous quack! I only watched through it as i wanted to see who killed the boy and why and while we do get to know the identity of the murderer, we never do know why and only a glimpse of the real reason is there, the boy was not a good boy, but we never know why and that was frustrating!!Horrible movie overall!

80's DTV Horror lives on with modern spice.
captainslappy10 June 2013
Warning: Spoilers
Maybe my opinion is biased by my nostalgia, having grown up in the 80's and spent many a muggy summer night renting movies like April Fools Day, Woodchipper Massacre and Witchboard. The Latter of which this film reminded me of, especially the feel, the red headed lead even has a semi revealing shower scene ala Tawny Kitaen-although I think this was more coincidence rather than homage. Warwick Davis is great (duh)-Daniel Baldwin shows the other less adept performers how to convincingly chew through the dialogue. Movies like this have found a stable venue on channels like SyFy and Lifetime not just DVD and streaming, which makes for ample places to hopefully stumble upon it. I watched the movie in the company of my adult son and enjoyed it, but would have no problem having watched it with my gal-pal who is not a fan of horror movies-especially since this one feels more like suspense. Check it out, lots of fun!

Thriller!
theartofaplayer11 June 2013
I have to admit, I got this movie just because Warwick Davis was in it...and I didn't really expect much. This is a low-budget film and is a little slow to get going, but I actually found myself really getting into it and enjoying the characters. Daniel Baldwin (how many of them are there???) was surprisingly good as the menacing neighbor. If you are looking for a horror film, you will probably be disappointed, but as a low-budget thriller, this one is actually pretty good. So if you are of for some suspense kick back grab the popcorn. As I stated it's more so a thriller.I have to admit, I got this movie just because Warwick Davis was in it...and I didn't really expect much.
