Inconsistent Characters
hbcamp-3079722 February 2024
I can overlook most things about this series, but the one thing that frustrates me the most is the inconsistent writing for the characters. Every character goes back and forth between bad and good to the point that you just about don't care about any of them. Nothing, and I mean nothing, is ever resolved so that is just poor plot writing. This show could be the greatest. It has everything it needs: beautiful cinematography, beautiful actors with great skill, obviously a huge budget, etc. However, the writing is the weakest link. It is just not satisfying and I find myself losing interest every episode.

What makes this show different than rest Turkish dramas?!!
aribaanjum-5796231 July 2023
So answering the main heading, story's worst plot.

It is 2023, and you must be thinking that things with Turkish dramas have changed by now. But wait, this drama has gotten worst. Watched one back in 2018, after 30 episodes found it very dragged and so left, and now seeing it getting the hype thought that maybe it's 2hours episodes are worth the watch.

But wait, now I can say that those able to watch it after 10 episodes either are critics or they need serious mental help.

Let me summarize the main problems, Firstly the acting by main leads and almost everyone is quite natural and well-performed.

But that's the only good thing about drama. Rest it involves repetitive scenes that make no sense, like Ferit and Seyran fighting over same points after some hours, they are almost always fighting. Story soon introduces you to the concept of this story, where intention is not to solve problems or deliver any good meaning to the audience, but just to keep up the spice and continue the exaggerated drama(that only makes the viewer bored and fed up)

Mert and Afra have performed very well as main leads, so it feels bad to give this show 1 star, but other than acting, every thing else religiously deserves 1 star.

Finally I can say for a show, "Watch at your own risk".

Entertaining, interesting, loving it
mosquitocyn21 October 2022
Initially, I thought this was going to be another one of those poor girl forced to marry rich spoiled boy but I was pleasantly surprised from the first episode. Now I'm looking forward to every episode - as I write this review, only 4 episodes released. It reminds me a lot of Fazilet Hanim ve Kizlari and.a bit of Downton Abbey especially when it is shown how the lives of the family intertwine with their domestic servants. The series is beautifully made, the pace is just right and there's plenty of surprises and I think there will be a lot of drama (but I do hope not that much lies and drama as with Fazilet Hanin be Kizlari). I like watching the 2 young female and male leads. They started hating each other and now are moving to a mode where they need to live with each other. Their teasing, bickering, fighting and even support for each other are worth watching. The spin off stories with the rest of the supporting cast are also interesting. Now I look forward to every episode to be released & hope the series continues to be good. Highly recommend to watch.

No romance just constant degradation of women
poopyandfamily1 February 2023
This show has a wonderful cast and it's soundtrack is great. The first eight episodes are fast paced and well directed. But that's all that's good about this show.

Firstly the series has not been marketed properly it's not a love story nor does it seem to be inspired from true events. It's a twisted tale of a young woman forced into marriage with a narcissistic man who has no respect for her. She for some strange reason falls in love with him.

In every episode the writer uses clichés and scenes copy pasted from other tv shows like adini Feriha koydum which makes it hard to believe it's inspired from true events. In every episode the male character cheats on the heroine or humiliates her. Yet she forgives him without a word of apology from him. Even after nineteen episodes the male character shows no signs of development. The makers of this show by trying to romanticise their relationship make everything appear even more ridiculous.

Besides the main characters almost every other female is a victim of abuse and almost every male character an abuser. It's frustrating seeing this amount of cruelty against women with not a single one able to stand up for herself. I am downgrading it to one star. There's not one single character who isn't violent towards women. Even the main character's best friend tries to strangle a woman in a fit of rage. This show should be banned .

lousy acting and script ! This Dizi needed a depth !
saradjelfi6 September 2023
Some reviews here mentioned this as the best Dizi with great story which should be free of any cliches , If this is true then it's really tragic , the plot is about immature couple , cheating , love triangle , a girl who has never been touched by another man , a rich playboy who's sleeping with multiple women and then he comes to the FL and say " what i had with these women is different as with what i have with you". Bla bla bla ... Okay I'm sorry but this show didn't offer anything new and I did watch this before , I'm also so shocked that some people praised on how strong the FL is when the whole show practically the ML is playing football with her , abusing her mentally , cheating on her left and right , i personally think she's a plain whiny with zero intelligence like cmon girl, your husband is a literal cheater , he's chasing his ex girlfriend fully knowing that he's a married man and you still have the nerve to only blame her I was sick of her acting all high and getting batshit crazy over her husband's mistresses like Instead go hate on your husband , I can accept a little toxicity but what this man did turned my stomach , I tried to understand her decisions and her feelings but I just couldn't empathize with her and feel her strength .

I have no problem with the people who love the show and enjoy it Everybody is entitled to their own opinion but if you're tryna sell me the fact that this drama is a beautiful redemption psychological story filled with well developed characters and a thoughtout plot line , I'm going to tell you to touch grass . It makes me wonder the sanity of the writers and producers who said it's based on true story Because if these are the ways people and society is in Antep maybe something needs to be done to cut them off from the rest of the world , They never take mental health and deep real life issues such as abuse, violence , cheating , mental illness seriously , they always play dumb when it comes to serious topics , they don't seem to address it at all , the FL was sold to the ML by her father and the ML never got tired of throwing this on her face as an insult , Do you really think that in real life a good and healthy relationship can develop out of something like this ? Also the main couple never banged each other and when they decided to do it was in the ML's brother funeral day ? It was so disgusting And the FL healed from all her traumas uncluding her childhood ones by being kissed and banged by the Ml ?

The premise was promising and the synopsis looked pretty good, so I set myself to have a good time and expected a mature, deliciously angsty Dizi to hook on to , I thought it was supposed to be about different people who are going through a rough time with their particular journey but i'm disappointed , quickly it became an unbearable repetitive plot line involving more verbal and mental abuse of any show I've ever seen , The story centered around fighting , weird conversations in the dinner table and normalising cheating ,The treatment of women is poor , There's so much shouting and pettiness and lack of growth in this drama and I had to watch the leads alternately act like idiots , sometimes act like idiots together , as I kept watching I started to get more and more irritated and frustrated , the show begins to drag afterwards and the story didn't meet my expectations , I just hate every trope this drama decides to utilize From immature leads who cannot stand each other , a douchey father who only looks out for his own benefit, a male lead who can't get over a girl from his past , I finished the season in two days and I skipped a lot without even missed anything important , i only finished it to get rid of it and because i was bored , I certainly will not watch the second season .

Th plot and the story : messy and nonsensical , The plot shows that the showrunners didn't know exactly what they wanted this series to be, so they mixed everything together in an unsatisfying way , sometimes it's a Romcom , Sometimes it's an action series , Sometimes it's a revenge story ,Sometimes, it's trying to be an analogy to cinderella , and kept flip-flopping , The rest of it I'd say the dinner table is the main character of the show .

So many filler episodes , the plot holes are terrible that at some point I totally stopped believing the story , having one or two flaws is ok , but in Yali Capkini there's a never ending chain of plot holes , They probably noticed they got popular and think anything works , They focus a lot on visuals and on showing skin, both of which seem to work at getting an audience .

Romance : Laziest writer ever , instead of intimate scenes the couples need way more dialogue , Their relationship makes practically no sense , they didn't show why the ML fell for FL, or the process of recognizing his feeling, properly , One day he was obsessed with the ex girlfriend and refuses to let her go and the next day he was deeply in love with his wife , I also really can't understand why the FL fell in love with him maybe because of his fortune !

Weirdest romance ever between the second couple absolutely zero buildup, zero chemistry, zero feelings , It makes zero sense , the taxi driver fell too fast and too hard for the sister and I felt it was completely unfounded , their only job is to accompany the main couple all the time in their trips .

Regarding the fight sequences, I think they are poorly done and corny ,a lot of the brawls look and feel very fake and not the ML with his belly-fat and his tinny friend are beating and gainning fights against muscular men .

The characters and acting : the character development is one of the biggest things a lot of people look forward to in a tv show , I personally like complex, wounded characters who're almost unforgivable but at the very least I want them to be well written in order to understand their reasons but here all of them are stupid and rotten to the core literally no one is beyond to my liking , The acting of some actors is absolutely horrendous like Suna and Orhan their acting felt expressionless, rigid and lacked the right emotion for the scenes , the other actors aren't great as well except Halis , Hatus , Kazim , Ifakat , Asme , ( i can't judge the brother's wife since she had no scenes i can't even remember her name ) I had a hard time to watch the other characters acting , i also don't feel the dynamic between the families members , there is no trait of resemblance between the FL and the rest members of her family not to mention that it's hard to watch whenever it comes to Fuat and his parents scenes, they all look in the same age and could be brother/sister instead.

The ML : He's a cringe-worthy and useless crybaby who can't solve a single problem on his own without his family come to help him . I literally felt like I was watching a temperamental 5-year-old who lost his favorite toy or who wants someone else's toy and who will stomp around and pout until they get what they want , and I got so sick of his clownery , his acting skills are okay but not the best .

The FL : childish FL that I've ever seen she's so stupid and easily to be manipulated by the ML , out of all the FLs characters hers was the most unclear , Is the character supposed to be ambitious ? Cute ? Feisty? Stubborn? Charming? Naive? Bold? It's almost as if there's no planning in her character , Just threw anything on and went with it , about her acting , i don't like her crying scenes i didn't know if she's crying or laughing but i guess she found a solution by hiding her face with a pillow or ruins her eyeliner , i also can't feel the sparks in her eyes of being in love for the first time , she just looks horny all the time .

The side characters : wayward , irrelevant , boring don't contribute anything to the storyline , they were just thrown out of the plot and killed for convenience or I'd say to keep the story going as I don't think they had anything more to offer .

The only good thing about this Dizi is the soundtracks ! If you like the teenage toxic love stories where you don't have to think too much then this could be for you. If not, you aren't really missing much and you could probably play this in the background while you're doing something else .

One of the best series I've watched
omilkov16 October 2022
I have no idea why this series has such a low rating after only 4 episodes, on here I mean.

The series is a mixture of traditional values that are represented in the main female character's dad and modern, that is represented in the main male character's family.

The story is a fake marriage that has a potential to turn into real love. The characters have a lot of chemistry between them and it's a real pleasure to watch them from week to week. They seem to bicker a lot, but now they are slowly growing on one another and we're all rooting for them. The series has nice music, nice scenery and the actors are high quality. Definitely worth the watch.

Cheating, cheating and more cheating
swaycover12 January 2023
Maybe it is me, but I can not get into a romance drama, if there is cheating involved.

Let´s say, that it is acceptable, that the man slept with every available woman while having a girlfriend...let´s pretend, that this is somehow acceptable.... But then he marries - another woman than his girlfriend, while keeping his girlfriend and continuing to have other women too.

And that is somehow unacceptable, is it not?

The writers want to make me believe, that this is a romantic drama, that they love each other.

I don´t see that. I can not accept cheating in a romantic relationship. There is no character growth, he does not grow out of his habbits, he does not change his ways. What am I watching this for? To see the female heartbroken all the time?

No thank you! Will watch the last episode to hopefully see her leave him and start a new and happy life!

Based on true events. Shocking!
tempresident1 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This is base on true events, so it's not the writers thinking up sick people, there really were these sick people. The adults are all insane and the children suffer because they are used as puppets...one wants money, the others have a feud. They are beyond sick and demented. They have destroyed their own children's lives. Fuat died because of the evil adults. And then they have the audacity to blame the children who are the victims. Narcissists they are, from the old aunt of Suna & Seyran to Ferit's evil, wicked grandfather who should've died from that heart attack to give his family a chance at a happy life. Evil monster.

Ferit has many personalities and it flips between bad boy, good boy, jerk, hero...very confusing. It seems he his maturing as the show progresses and he is realising his mistakes and wants to change, but the crazy women around him won't allow him...from Ifakat, to Pelin, to Pelin's mother, Sultan and Seyran. The sins of his past keeps haunting him.

Seyran also flips between wise girl, very immature, utterly confused, then levelheaded. She doesn't want Ferit, yet she is in love with him. Her pride and un-forgiveness is the reason her marriage is breaking up and also the reason her wack-job of a father wants to sell her to what seems like a man who will physically abuse her. She doesn't want that but also won't hold onto Ferit (whom she loves) who is seemingly her only option out. She is very immature and stupid in this regard.

Seyrran and Suna can do something but choose to stay victims. Episode 29...at this point Seyran and Suna deserve everything that will happen to them from this point onwards. Suna could say no. So weird...they ask if the person gets married by force. If they only look at their faces, they would get the answer. But no...keep burying their head in the sand.

Even though so many topics in this series are very infuriating, it still is a gripping series and the actors are doing a brilliant job at portraying these characters.

Edit: Episode 51 WOW!! I got angry with Seyran because she really doesn't see how hard Ferit tries for their relationship. Yes, he made mistakes, but he's also surrounded by people who plays with him like a toy, manipulating him. He really did change and became an upstanding man. But on the other hand she is also correct in feeling the way she does. And very courageous for saying the things she did. The last scene was superb! I think I stopped breathing.

#1 Series in Turkey
hestelbell17 November 2022
This series is #1 in Turkey according to the Turkish reviews on YouTube. I like it and i think the actors and actresses are tops in their acting the parts. They bring the story to life. I believe this series is well worth watching. I like the music and the scenery. I have never see Mert before but he plays his part very well. He is a likeable bad boy. Afra, i have seen her act before, and she has become a much better actress. She plays her roll very well and I like the chemistry between her and Mert in this series. In this series his family has their problems but her family is much worse. She is a child, in this story, who is abused by her Father and neither her Mom or Aunt have what it takes to stand up for her or her sister. I hope this series has excellent writers and it continues to be as interesting as it has through 9 episodes.

Cast is great
marija_manojlovic17 June 2023
Warning: Spoilers
First 15 episodes was pretty good, but than scenarists started to forget about events, flaws and virtues of all characters.

Cast is awesome, all actorts do really good job. Afra and Mert have so strong chemistry. There are also great names like Cetin Tekindor.

But screen time most of the side characters isn't enough to develop a decent side stories. Because of that, story very early become repetitive. Also, side stories were pretty interesting at the beginning.

The main flaw of the script is so prolonged love story between SeyFer, so their flaws and actions really put a shadow on their initial story and potential love.

But, SeyFer is worth your time, they are so sweet, so give it a try!

I don't know what the writer is thinking writing this garbage
lisasoo27 January 2023
First of all let me say if you wanna watch it for the 'based on true story thing ' you're just wasting your time , the writer kicked off the main story and decided to form a whole new one which is contradicting the previous facts .

I started this series because of Afra and çetin tekindor , the story's description drew me in further too . But unfortunately this drama isn't really worth watching .

The reason why it started well is because the script was changed multiple times in order to fit cagatay ulusoy since he wasn't impressed by the scenario before he turned down the offer , which gave it an interesting premise , then it went straight to the dustbin .

This show is a rollercoaster but not in a good sense , it went from a drama dizi to a fantasy lala land to a mafia series , every single episode feels like it's from a completely different show , dropped storylines, forgotten plot points , so many plot holes that even if you try to fill it you will continue to sink , the action scenes are so unrealistic that's just become ridiculous , unnecessary comedy , repititive tiring dialogues that caused a headache , a bunch of crazy men persecuting doormat women in humiliation feast , new characters being added when there are already characters that need more focus and screen time .

The ML is a stubborn 10 years old nd the most useless character sigh , he has nothing to do than being jobless nd living off his grandfather's money , chasing women nd cheating on his wife all the time .

The FL is also sickening to watch , she has no dignity , the ML asked her ex about her virg@nity , forbade her to study , cheating on her and all of a sudden , she realized how much she loves him .

The side characters are neglected , the story is only revolving about ML & FL fights , and the obsession of the ML with the Mistress , this is all what you gonna watch in the whole 2 hours of each episode .

The show is carried mostly by the FL's violent father with his impeccable acting skills .

I don't know what the writer is smoking but it seems like he's copying a bunch of stories off of Wattpad .

Such a waste of good talented actors.

Addicting
squchan-9052823 October 2022
I stopped watching Turkish series a while ago, they were long, cliche packed and it's the same characters all over again, they kept getting too repetitive for my taste, the episodes being 2 hours long didn't help, however, while this series follow the same scenarios and story, the characters give a completely new and refreshing interactions and situations, I like how the hero's character is written, he's super funny and sarcastic most of the time so when he show any other emotions like anger/sadness/seriousness it feels so real, the actor did a very good job!

The heroine's character is also amazing, I can relate to her personality sooo freaking much, I like that she's rational even with a fierce nature, like most of the heroines with "strong" personality don't even think before acting, and then they get into trouble, I wish that doesn't change but it's very unlikely, I would like for this show to surprise me tho.

All in all, I like how the story is fast based rather than the drama milking, "one piece stretching", stupid misunderstandings that last 3-5 episodes (2 hours each) kind of story.

Pray for Turkish woman
ane-ib19 November 2023
I just hope that this is not a real picture of a modern Turkish woman. Being Beaten forced cheated locked controlled, suppressed. To the guy who writes this scenario. Are you normal? What are you trying to do? To present violence as a normal, romantic thing? Go check yourself.

And who in their right mind lives with their in laws in the same house?

Seriously? What a joke.

The main characters. Also, a joke. The so-called golden boy? More like stupidity boy. No education no working skills, just yelling, and hiding behind his grandpa skirt. Fights, cheating, yelling. I mean, grow up. Sisters. Shows some self-respect. Stand up for yourself. If you are faisty, be faisty with everyone.

? Terrible. This show need to be stopped immediately.

Nice story and good acting
ranugodrick29 October 2022
Its a nice story and good acting by the actors. Im from Sri Lanka and I wait anxiously for a week just to watch this. Ferit and Seyran does a good justice to the roles and they are very pleasing to watch. Hope it will have more episodes/ seasons. This is one of the best love story series after so long. Please continue the dizi dont stop half way.

All other charachters are also very good and they too does a marvelous job in their roles.

Still the story is more in thr mansion bound and its good if other nice locations too can be imcluded in future scenes so that it will not be monotonous background.

Probably the worst drama I've ever tried watching
zubiyargondal2 September 2023
Every single character in this show needs therapy. Nobody's actions make any sense. What kind of a hero is Ferit? He probably has borderline personality disorder and grandiose delusional disorder at the same time. He's not just flirtatious (capkin). Every male character is either cheating on his partner or planning to cheat. Such a bad storyline. I've never written a bad review before in my life but this show frustrated me so much. I've seen violence before in turkish shows but this is too much of both physical and psychological violence. How is this a top dizi? It shows the kind of content people like watching. It's because there is so much negativity in people.

So obsessed
cjpatra5 November 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I'm so obsessed with this series, most entertaining Turkish series of 2022 about a forced marriage The plot will take you on a spin but that's part of the fun, it will keep you at the edge of your seat. The male and female leads have great chemistry, at episode 7, we see feelings starting grow but the lead femal character being humiliated by her philandering husband, even though the marriage is fake. I hope they don't make her a loser who just falls in love, i hope the writers wont make her a weak woman sitting at home waiting for attention and love. She should stand strong enough to be independent in the future. The level of violence by the father of the girls in the series is very shocking ,would even say traumatising to the audience but we can only hope that the take down of the villans will be as satisfying as it is frustrating. The plot seems to be going on a tangent at episode 7, will revisit the rating at the end of the series. I hope it won't disappoint.... I hope the after all the frustrations the couple will give us, we will get memorable, intense romantic scenes in the end and all consuming and deep love...

No progress here, repetitive.
breezegarcia1 January 2023
Started good with the arranged marriage, kind of exciting, but after that it spiralled down to uninspiring episodes wuth nothing much of a story to follow but a series of anger, shouting, and scary elders with huge egos and narcissistic tendencies.

Male lead acts like a kid with his annoying attitude towards the female lead character with his cutesy facial and body expressions.

Everyone is petrified with the old man and usually occur during each meal congregation. The father of Seyran is also abusive and angry all the time the camera focused on him.

I know it is a romantic series but I don't see the romance angle with Ferit having another girlfriend on the side despite being married.

The story is kind of repetitive and monotonous.

Gooood Serires This series requires patience and understanding
luevetralboyd22 April 2023
First understand that the main characters are young and immature m. They both have issues centered around physical and psychological abuse which causes them to make decisions that cause more harm. Yes the series can seem repetitive but it's often how many people really live in real life stuck in a cycle. Ferrit has a hugs Ego which causes him to be psychologically abusive towards Seyran who has been physically abused by her father. I don't know no women that's willing to gladly share her husband with another woman just because that was his girlfriend. It's a good series, but it will drive you crazy because you want them to win as a couple. Ferrit is truly the Golden boy. You will strongly dislike his behavior, but they mans personality is Hilarious which makes you love him. Seyhan is dealt a bad had and often is gaslit for telling the truth and is not going to tolerate Ferrit. Her bruised heart and bitterness towards even being married has caused her to make decisions that cause her hurt. Seyhan feels like once they are together Ferrit will leave her. Ferrit uses "being" with Seyhan as a means to prove that he has all of her. They have love for each other, but loving each other seems impossible because of how they started they've marriage.

Annoying irritating and nonsense
yasiisadri17 April 2023
As a single Iranian girl who has lived in a patriarchal society I say that watching this program does not give me any feeling other than suffering and torture

Parents should be careful that this show contains heartbreaking scenes of violence against women

Not only showing these ugly behaviors and gender discrimination in this region will spread and increase them but it is also an inappropriate example for young people and lowers the credibility of families And the psychological pressure that watching these scenes can couse to women who are subjected to violence is unimaginable The actors are perfect the story and show is horrible.

Worth To Watch and To Wait To Watch
TheHeartInYourHeart28 October 2022
Turkish series have had a huge impact on the lifestyles of people & their families in turkey and the same level of influence on families in middle-eastern countries. Although not always a good and positive effect, because the things shown tend to change people in the long term, especially those families which all members are addicted to turkish series. The negative things advertised in these series are exaggerated 90% of the time and do not occur that much in reality. But sadly nowadays they do happen in families because of the amount of our time we give to these English/Turkish/Arabic/Indian etc. Series.

Now that that we've met the minimum character limit and said hello we can review -_-. All that aside, this series is nice to watch and the old and young conflict of the way the view the world and would prefer to live is near to reality in different ways. Also how power controls people is shown beautifully, especially in such families who tend to live in one place and that one member has the leader image and is the guy to please.

The actress/actor(s) each play their parts delightfully well. And its pleasing to your emotions to watch what they do and what happens to each of them. They take the story forward nicely and the story is attractive and makes you want more and more. As another reviewer mentioned, its not slow paced, which is good and so it won't bore you to death. The director has done a good job too, till now that is and hopefully till the end. Which I wish to be in 6-7 years so we have a lot more of Afra Saraçoglu and Mert Ramazan Demir.

Have a lovely day world and spend your time on positive things.

Slow and repetition
serin-4066317 January 2023
Warning: Spoilers
Episodes are getting worse, tooooo much repetition, he cheated he cheated he cheated, its all about cheating tho, 17 episodes and yet nothing new except cheating hahah everyone is gonna cheat in this serie, that's why its getting bored.

I don't see any suspense or different events in each episode, it only makes the spectator annoyed and angry at the end of each episode hoping for any new event or solution to the problems in the previous episodes, except that the director will not deliberately prolong the series, because if he shortened it it will only be a short movie or a series with 5 episodes, all the best for those who have enough patience to end this series.

Teeter Totter Show
R-Bird-A9 June 2023
It's kind of hard to review this show because I hate it and love it at the same time. I am having a hard time watching this terribly abusive father, and despise him. But at the same time, he is kind of humorous in an almost cartoonish way. (Like his constant use of the word Blasen...and when he enters a room and flicks his shoes (gross) and when he acts like a big baby when he is hurt...and like a lion when he defended Ferit against the Mobsters.) There were times when I was completely disgusted with Ferit and his selfish behavior and blatant infidelity, but for the most part, he is ridiculously charming and I have now forgiven him of his "unforgivable" sins and love him most of all. He is absolutely endearing. As for Seyran, I love her strength and dignity but was super tired of her stubbornness. Even Suna was the best sister, defended her little sister, gave valuable advice and was amazing in almost every way but is so frustrating when she recoils and is unable to defend herself. I understand that abused people feel trapped but as the watcher, I am so frustrated. The mom, Esme and the Aunt Halice are loveable and annoying too. Mom needs a spine and Aunt needs to reel in the spite. Pelin is completely obnoxious but completely sweet at the same time. Every character seems to be great and terrible at the same time. The grandfather showed moments when he seemed extremely wise and honorable, but then he also showed a very very cruel and selfish nature. Ferit's mother Gulgun seems really sweet for the majority of the show, but in the beginning she seemed to be disrespectful to her incoming daughter in law in an effort to appease (and control). The only consistent ones (up to this point) are Abedin and Asuman. Overall, it seems that the psychology of this show demonstrates that wounds affect people throughout their whole life, hurt people HURT people, and sometimes true love conquers everything else.

This series offers so many complicated characters and funny one liners that it keeps me watching. It is so bad....but so so so good. I can't wait for season 2!

Well....here we are in season 2, and it's just getting worse. It seems the writers want to say this: Hate and anger are noble. I am over the hateful and nonsensical actions...mainly manifested in Seyran. It's true that Ferid did her wrong initially, but he consistently tried to help her while juggling the impossible feat of pleasing and honoring his family. I may be alone, but I don't see him as the bad guy but a courageous and loving man who is just trying to make right with everyone. Has she done anything of merit for him? Anger and hate cannot be your motive for anything good. Hate cannot do anything good...only love can. The writers seem to not understand that "getting even" is just circularly harmful. This show is just getting deeper and deeper in the muck. It's losing any morsel of joy that it once had. I wish they ended with a joyful wedding of the past. But not even 24 hours go by with joy in this story. Uffffff....very frustrating.

Not bad but
juneb-208982 January 2023
It's actually worse than bad. It's glorifying old traditions of women's silence when it comes to deciding for themselves, their marriage, ad their choices in life.

The father of the two girls is a torture weapon. I am not sure if his character in this series is accurate or he's just acting awkward or simply overdoing it.

The Halis is probably a lonely person with bad experiences in life that he puts too much pressure in the whole family. Should that be a good acting? I don't know. But I've seen some of his old series and he's a good actor.

Meanwhile the young boy, yes he is a young boy acting like a young boy and the character portyal itself is that if a young boy. Too pretty-acting for the role? I may be wrong or porbably that is his brand of acting but it's sometimes going to the cringe. This boy is a potent poison, I can't wait for Seiran to find her freedom and finally leave this egotist uncontrollable boy, wishing very much that that would be the ending.

I want to stop watching, giving it 2 more episodes for something interesting that might happen.

PS ok I'm done. Became unbearable to watch. The male protaginist with his annoying laugh, smirks, smugs, became the antagonist who became excessively a control freak, controlling both his wife and his girlfriend. I no longer understand. The director perhaps thought about giving him a push in his acting so he decided to direct his acting into shouting, screaming and anger thinking that it is the definition of good acting. Very bad acting.

worst dizi
selenadenizz13 February 2023
I expected this series to be something I haven't seen before, but it's story is so repetitive and Yali Capkini is definitely overrated for no reason. Women beaten, abused, forced to marry a man whose parents were unable to educate him and make him behave normally. Ferit is one of the most toxic male characters I've ever seen: he's selfish, immature and a big cheater. He had a relationship with almost every woman in that series and yet this series tries to normalize this situation. Instead of being abandoned, the women stand around him as if they are desperate. And she is a naive girl who accepts all his nonsense. You have nothing good to learn from this dizi.
