Great show

This was thoroughly entertaining. Bobby and his daughter Sophie are charming together and show some great places, from casual to fine dining. I liked how it felt genuine, he is a celebrity chef and the show unapologetically reflects that. Great start!

Fun show

This show is fun and light hearted, as were The Flay List and their podcast, Always Hungry.

I like it that B. Flay is helping his daughter get more exposure nationally. It's really touching to see them interact. They make a good team.

They are showcasing a lot of relatively new stuff in L. A. that popped after I left L. A. in the early 90s. I wish there would be more than just three episodes, because there is so much more in the L. A. basin than could possibly fit in such a short season. Maybe I'm wrong and there will be more to come.

I wish there was a companion website with recipes for the stuff they eat and make. That would be fun.

New Yorkers Giving Advice on the LA Food Scene

The first episode was annoying. Just because someone says something with confidence does not make it true. Bobby mentions that LA's 'uptick' in a diverse population has ushered in a new era of 'cuisine' and the camera pans over to a sign of Chinatown and El Pueblo "Placita Olvera" area. Wake up call, Placitia Olvera is the birthplace of LA and we have always been diverse and had a wide variety of diverse food available. What a insult to Los Angeles. Get your facts straight, Bobby!
