A very typical textbook Tagalog romantic comedy...

"Won't Last a Day Without You" is a straight out of the "how to make a romantic comedy" guide book. Everything in this movie is just dripping with sassy stereotypical stuff that has been used countless other times in other romantic comedies from both the Philippines but also from around the globe.

That being said, then it should also be said that if you enjoy these particular kind of romantic comedies, where there is a man and woman who can't stand the sight of one another, but are forced together for some reason and eventually fall in love and figure out that they were meant to be, then you will most definitely like this movie.

The story, well, without going into further details, just read above, because the story in "Won't Last a Day Without You" is just exactly that kind of movie.

As for the acting, well I will say that people were doing good jobs. And I think it was actually the first time that I saw a movie by Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson. There was just something about them paired up on the screen that didn't really add strength or believability to the movie, because they didn't really have that great chemistry together on the screen.

"Won't Last a Day Without You" is a very typical Tagalog romantic comedy which exist in large quantities in the Philippine movie market. And as such, it doesn't really stand out in a crowd. And as such, then I am rating the movie a mediocre 5 out of 10 stars. Sure, the movie was entertaining, but it is very unlikely to support more than a single viewing, and it didn't leave a lasting memory.

Uber the Top Romantic Clichés

Won't Last a Day Without You is one of those Romantic Comedy films that will make you shudder not because of heartfelt romance but of uber the top romantic clichés. That is one of the reasons why I don't watch films like this in cinemas.

This is the second time I watched a Sarah Geronimo and Gerald Anderson film. And I have to give them credit for making this way better than their first movie team up. The plot made this film different. It's a little plausible and it's cheesy scenes is a bit bearable (except for the ending).

The story has more characters this time and is more involved in the plot. The cast they have in this film are more fun to watch than those in I've Fallen for You.
