a great platform for finale!!!
geniusayush21 January 2012
chuck vs the bullet train is a perfect setting for a great ending for a show that has been giving us adrenaline rush since the past five years.Just like the last three seasons it has been the habit of makers to end the season at a high note which they continue for now. with chuck becoming hostage has Sarah getting the intersect in the previous episode i was eager to see to what lengths Sarah will go to use the intersect keeping in mind the ill effects of the intersect .The whole episode is fast adrenaline filled with an ending on such a high note that you are left wanting for more and screaming to God to cut short the full week

Wow! Fantastic!

What the heck is going to happen next?? I can't wait to find out! This episode is incredible!

It has action, suspense, great humor, and a crazy mixed-up ending!!!!

Jeff and Lester are awesome! They rock! And they never disappoint. They make me laugh so much!

Chuck and Sarah, oh noooo!! I can't wait to finish this review so I can't watch the next episode. And Casey, I just love him. He has changed and grown thru the entire series, yet he remains the same where it counts.

Morgan and Alex are great. Ellie and Devon are wonderful! I even love Big Mike's character! The whole cast is so talented!

This season has been so intense and I just love it. I cannot get enough of this show!

This WASN'T the series finale?!
dewlover42011 March 2021
All I remembered about Chuck was that I had watched the entire series every week with my family. Not much specifically. (Surprisingly I remembered like every second of the first two seasons, maybe even Season 3, while watching.)

My last memory of the show, which I thought was the series finale, was a cliffhanger on a bullet train. Chuck and Sarah, and a fight about to occur. I thought it was either the last produced episode, or the SEASON finale, but ended up being series finale.

BOY WAS I WRONG! I don't think there was even a shot like that. Plus the ending was NOT that. It was entirely different. (I don't personally feel this is spoilers because I'm referring to a "made up" ending being fake.)

I'm in for a treat with these LAST TWO EPISODES!!!

Hot mess/all over the place
skay_baltimore11 August 2022
As the third to the final episode of the series this had the potential to be great. It was not. Why? Because while some elements WERE great, the rest was a hot mess that included elements that were so ridiculous (i.e. A guy hanging onto the underside of a bullet train) they were laughable. But not in a funny way. And that's how most of seasons 3, 4 & 5 have gone. Another example of 1 step forward, 2 steps back. (In this instance, it was more like 3 steps back.)

It's sad. In the right hands this could (and should) have been a really great series. As it turns out, in the end, it's just another example of wasted potential.

What did they do to Chuck?
maxmusterm21 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
What happened to the writers after the fourth season? It seems like they lost their creativity AND will to write. The season started of bad and I thought "It only can get better" but it got worse.I don't even know how this is exactly possible I mean after Morgan became the Intersect everything should look like a masterpiece but they keep ruining Chuck.I really want it to be a good ending but what I've seen today just kills all my hopes.

The episode starts with how Sarah became the new intersect.Fine not that she isn't bad-ass enough without it. Now for some reason they are in Tokyo. So we watch and see that the bad guy doesn't seem to know what he wants!First he suggests that Chuck has to build or fix some intersect and he will be able to do it because of his "servers, technicians and his caring hand with a gun to incentivize chuck" ... yeah sure. On the other hand he mentions that he will get the intersect glasses soon.So - wth do you want from Chuck???You said Casey and Sarah are dead right?Kill him or let him go what good does it do to have him on your side?So does it mean he knows that the intersect is defect? In the next scene we see Sarah and Casey in something like high tech coffins. They are opened and it seems like someone stuck LEDs to a cardboard coffin and painted it pink!We hear that with the intersect she "took out all men in a snap and flashed on the computer to send out phony communiques" - We get it you overuse the intersect for some stuff and you can flash like wild and Casey doesn't care - get on with the story. And they do with a bad, flat, foreseeable joke we get going to the end of chuck (the series not the person). Next scene Morgan whines like a little girl cause he wants to be on a rescue mission for chuck (because he is a "trained spy" oO). I'm not exactly sure why they analyze him, because Sarah says after this mission the intersect is out of her brain,so she HAS to have plan and maybe Beckman is waiting for them at the end of the station where that may be...again makes no sense but moving on. They analyze the brain of a normal human being. Why?The intersect is gone so there shouldn't be anything they can find. Next thing we see is Chuck using his ring as a pickset even I won't say anything about this cause the lock picking skill-set they show in this series is questionable. So Sarah flashes, beats about the bushes and Chuck who was the Intersect for 4 years and could spot a flash from 1km doesn't seem to realize his wife has the intersect.YEAH! And she just has to "fffff...igure it out" I mean please you all stop acting out of character. If the intersect will be removed just tell him. Aaaand she flashes again, Chuck again doesn't notice. Instead of tying MrBad up or checking for weapons on him they trap him in the cardboard coffin. Anyway I will wrap it up: - They try to hide that she can flash, until she just says it. - New confusing intro. - They finally realize that the count of flashes could be the reason for the memory loss (why don't they tell Sarah?) - Flash a few times for no reason -establish something that Sarah has to remember (so she can forget it) - because there is no time(?) to call the CIA Morgan and Devon have to rescue them (out of character mission) get caught and rescued in the most stupid way possible (why didn't the bad guy just shoot Jeffster???) - again a few flat, predictable jokes, out of character acting people, worst line writing ever - intersect suppressing device (yeah they all just suppress the intersect why does nobody remove it?) made of a psp?(we saw something like a psp suppressing Chuck's intersect but I thought this was a high tech PC,they frigging build a own building so they could have an intersect and now all they need is a laptop,a psp,3D glasses and a doctor (chuck dad worked on this many years and they get it in such a short time... sure), maybe this was the plan from the beginning "Let Elly handle it I mean she's a doctor she will know how to remove the intersect) - After the download started there was an increase of 1%/sec and after 7 minutes and 30 seconds it is at 80%.Work on your animations! - they call Jeff and Lester "real heroes" (Chuck died for me) - Every character just acts stupid and really out of _character_ and in the end Sarah gets captured because she _again_ took of her blindfolds and ignored a plan.I don't even know why they tried to capture him in the first place because of the intersect glasses that could be apparently replaced with a psp and 3D glasses?

So she doesn't think about closing her eyes and who would have thought forgets everything (but hey she remembers she is a spy!!!).So now we get a even more stupid Sarah!Hell yeah let's stump and spit on the dead body! Now we got a rouge spy Sarah up against the CIA if she got the intersect her brain will explode (most likely) and if she hasn't got the intersect she is of no use because she blindly beliefs everything she is told she shouldn't know anything of importance and she shouldn't be cleared for anything because _she isn't CIA anymore_. Nice now nothing makes sense anymore and they have two episodes left to clear this mess.
