What Happens in Vegas Gets in the Tabloids
boblipton20 October 2012
Kellie Martin goes to Vegas for her bachelorette party. She gets drunk and married to Ethan Erickson, movie star. Before they can get the marriage annulled, the tabloids and Erickson's agent begin to take her life apart.

It's a fairly typical Hallmark TV movie, improved a bit by good performances. Ms. Martin's role is the usual serious business woman and Mr. Erickson the typical good-natured drifter who allows his agent to push him around long enough to keep the plot going. However, they are both willing to step up the performances a bit to make them amusing.

I do have one complaint: whoever did the score for this movie did it in a perky mood, so anxious to call attention to the fact that, yes, this is funny, that it intrudes.

Dumb and dumber
Jackbv12326 October 2020
I respected Kelly Martin until I watched this movie. How stupid can she be? She has so many options. And if she can't think of them, her fiancé must be a pretty dumb lawyer because he should be giving her options.

Yes it's a comedy. Hence all the stupidity. So get past that. Trouble is, I don't like comedy based on pure stupidity.

I little past half way, it get's cute. Kelly Martin shines at times. "Corndog!" And the chemistry develops. There's still some little silly things. Silly isn't the same as stupid.

I find myself yelling at the TV and I'm usually the silent movie watcher
rosesaqt-1563624 November 2023
I shouldn't enjoy this movie as much as I do. I usually watch movies quietly, but this movie makes me want to yell at the TV. Mostly at her original fiancé because what kind of man lets his bride-to-be go off to Vegas without a rock on her important finger? Also, I yell at the bride for not telling him the truth from the start. I also want to yell at the barista for her mistake. I don't feel like I've spoiled anything, because it happens in the first 5 minutes (maybe 10) of the show. Frankly, I'm not surprised at the ending. I could see it coming from the start. It's not one I'd watch every day, but a few times a year for sure.

No chemistry
tkell3131 May 2013
Horrible pairing ruins this rom-com attempt. Right from the first reveal where we see the newly married couple I could never get past the thought they would never have gotten married. I'm sure Kellie Martin is an attractive lady, but she never looked better than haggard in this movie and considering she married a movie star that just doesn't play well. Funny, Erickson is two years older than Martin, but looks about 10 years younger in the movie. Tossing aside the lack of chemistry the movie was pretty flat with very few humorous or cute parts that didn't feel completely forced. The movie sticks to the formula so it's pretty obvious how everything will turn out and I guess that appeals to people, but this isn't a very clever or entertaining ride.

Not great
kmccabe-1 June 2020
It's a Hallmark film, nobody expects high art, but this one is so by the numbers, it doesn't even try to clear the bar. Generic, unfunny and so so predictable.

Give this one a pass.

While I'm risking making myself sound incredibly superficial, most of the other reviews for this film have mentioned it, so I'm just going to put it out there -- It's weird when the lead actress of a romantic comedy looks somewhat older than the woman playing her mother (and who is 22 years her senior in real life).

Fun Movie
FilmPolice21 October 2012
I enjoyed this movie... I remember Kellie Martin as a teenager on "Life Goes On" back in the late 80s -- nice to see she made a successful transition from child actress to adult actress. And despite what another review on this board says, she's actually younger than Ethan Erickson... and I think she looks great! The movie takes off right away with Jordan (Kellie Martin) and her friends heading to Vegas for her bachelorette party, and keeps your interest throughout the rest of the story. It was also nice to see Bess Armstrong (an actress I've always liked, but I've always been surprised at how little I see her) and Erin Gray (who I have liked since she was "Silver Spoons" in the 80s).

I'm not being mean
lmgurl9214 April 2013
I'm not being mean when I review this film, but another reviewer talked of Kellie Martin's looks. I happen to fine her attractive enough, but she is a bit mature looking compared to the actor playing Matt Swift. The only reason I've taken the time to review this film is because romantic films such as this no matter how awful they are, I usually come to enjoy them. I watched "What Happens in Vegas" With Cameron Diaz and thought even though the film wasn't amazing it still held my interest and had me laughing. Unfortunely "I married Who" Couldn't sustain me at all! Everything about the film was just disgustingly sub-par, right down to the name. As if they couldn't come up with anything better then "I married who" AKA Always the Bride! Then the actors are not well chosen, I'm surprised that some of the performances were actually decent, but the plot was ridiculous, (which is usually fine with films like this, but to some extent.) Then the score, who ever created the score should be fired. I could hardly hear what the actors were saying! The music hardly fit the emotion of the film. Some parts were actually hard to watch. Over all I was very disappointed, because as I said before the style of the film is sort of a guilty pleasure for me,and even with an awful script they could of still made it enjoyable but the casting and production style were awful. What more can you ask from a Hallmark film though?

Marriage Caused By the Rocks? ***1/2
edwagreen27 October 2012
Warning: Spoilers
The last time I saw a movie where a woman woke up after a drunken spree and found herself married was Susan Hayward as Lillian Roth in "I'll Cry Tomorrow." (1955) That wasn't funny.

This picture is a comedy and it works very well. We see the agent allowing this marriage to go on because the guy is a movie star with a hit movie. We see how the woman, trying to get an annulment, has her life changed upside down.

Half-way through the film, her fiancé gives up and the rest of the film is devoted to our "annuled" couple finding themselves and growing into a wonderful relationship.

It can truly be said that love conquers all

I married who!
pmmontelongo9 November 2020
I wanted to like this movie because I like Kellie Martin but it was so cheesy! I could not watch it for very long because of the stupid background music, really! It was just really predictable and lame. A waste of time in my opinion.

Kinda good...for a TV movie
Jackie_Michele9 June 2012
It's a Saturday morning and I came across this flick on the Pixl channel as a sneak peak and decided to watch while cleaning. I found myself getting sucked in and continuously going back to the synopsis to clarify. You see, this movie about Jordan (Jordy) and her relationship to Peter and Matt. Peter is her fiancée whom she is set to marry and Matt is the big time celebrity who she actually did marry after her Vegas bachelorette party. The great thing about this plot is that it did go against the grain a little, but ultimately it left you feeling like you been duped. Sure, Matt Damon did it, but his wife is actually pretty. Kellie Martin's acting is good enough, but looks need to be considered when going up against Ethan Erickson. She ends up looking like Matt Swifts long lost, much older sister. If you want a movie to work, the relationship needs to be believable. We are supposed to be rooting for Matt and Jordan, but ultimately, I just wanted them to reveal their true ages.

Bad casting, unbelievable storyline
jml198827 November 2019
I hate to sound mean, but the lead actress was poorly cast. She looked more like the two male lead's frumpy older sister or perhaps aunt. She wasn't charming or likeable at all. This started off the movie being totally unrealistic and never-gonna-happen situation, and the lead actor's insistence on being with her was laughable.

A very predictable Made for TV romantic comedy
lisafordeay27 June 2022
Warning: Spoilers
I Married Who is a 2012 Hallmark Romantic Comedy starring Kellie Martin,Ethan Erickson and Bradley Snedeker.

A young woman named Jordan Grady(Martin) travels to Las Vegas with her two best friends to celebrate her hen party. However things take a turn when she wakes up the next day to discover that she married a famous movie star named Matt Swift(Erickson). If that wasn't complicated her fiance breaks up with her as a result. Will seh win her fiance back or will romance blossom between the hunky Matt and Jordan?.

Before I even watched this film I knew from the get go what was going to happen.

Movie has a love triangle scenario,a guy who would be great as a model in real life,a career driven woman, cheesy moments and a wedding.

watch if you have a low IQ
flejklw2 February 2023
Please, please, please, please, how did this make the screen. Only watched the first twenty minutes of this, just had to switch off.

The plot, a bride to be on her hen weekend, wakes up to find that she got married after it seems she was border lined roofied by a well known actor, that her " friends" found very amusing.

She doesn't remember anything, and to be honest comes over has not being very intelligent, which for me went far too far.

Kellie Martin who plays " Jordan" must have been having a really slow month to take this role on, I mean surely just reading the script would have been enough for her to realize this in not a great film.

Utter rubbish.

Waste of time
justnobody888 September 2022
I understand that it's low budget movie, but I can't understand how Kellie Martin got to play main character? So poor acting!

It's a Hallmark movie, nobody expects high art, but this one a bad Hallmark movie.

Kellie Martin, the lead actress of a romantic comedy looks somewhat older than the woman playing her mother (and who is 22 years her senior in real life).

She wasn't charming or likeable at all, and she grimaces like 5 years old.

Surprisingly, performance most of the other acrors was acceptable.

This movie had potential, unfortunately I bad actress spoiled it.

3 stars in respect to the other actors.
