To Be, Act 2 (#4.14)

Warning: Spoilers
And thee finale didn't disappoint me at all. It was amazing and makes one want to see what will happen in the next season.

Cia being behind the whole cartel thing was something I didn't expect at all.

Thee scene of Jax facing Clay was brilliant. Great acting and dialogue. I am also looking forward to see how it will when Clay is back on his feet and how the relationship will be with others. Especially Jax and Gemma at this moment.

And then the very ending of Jax taking over the table. So beautifully filmed with all the fitting atmosphere and music. This was definitely my favorite season so far. Can't wait to start watching the next one. I have no idea how people could wait for months after such a season and such a finale.

To Be, Act 2

Warning: Spoilers
What a finale. Rico gets canceled after Romeo and Luis is revealed to work for the CIA. Jax can't kill Clay because Galen only trusts Clay to sell the guns. Jax confronts Clay was brilliant. Potter gives a brilliant exit by making sure Hale loses and "Charming disney" doesn't go trough. Amazing acting from him! The girlfriend of Laroy that Tig killed is apperently the daughter of a very powerful man named Pope. Propably next seasons big bad. The episode ends with Jax taking over as president, amazing scene! Chibs as his SAA and propably Ope as his VP.

Best performance:Charlie Hunnam

Undisputed Best Season Of Entire Show
IMDBelievable20 December 2014
Warning: Spoilers
Finally. Jax has taken the table. This was a superb season from start to finish, After watching the rest of the show i still agree this is the best season. After such a terrible Season 3 that really was tough to watch Sutter made up for it with this season. Starts off with the Sons being released from prison and back to real world with a new sheriff. After his presence being known we also slowly see Clay is at the start of the end when it comes to his hands. This leads to the cartel welcoming with the drug trade and the deal being made between Jax and Clay. As the season goes on more than bargained for happens with the cartel and the table remains at a split with Bobby questioning Clay's leadership. The season got heated once Juice was forced to work with the government and Piney began to threaten Clay about the letters that would compromise his leadership and have Jax hang him high. With the club being tested more than ever eventually Piney becomes a bigger threat and Clay makes the choice to kill him. This was huge! Along with that Tara(being the first person to find the letters) is also on Clay's radar and he makes the call to the cartel to take out Tara; he had no idea Jax would be there and thank god he was.Tara's hand is in awful shape questioning if she will ever operate again, very sad time and with all this Juice is being asked more and more including stealing a brick of coke that led to Miles finding out and Juice killing him. Then the last few episodes are wild, Opie finds his father dead and Unser tells him the truth. Opie fired up, storms to club house and shoots Clay and if Jax didn't shoot his hand he would have finished the job. Eventually Geamma(recently beaten by Clay) tells Jax EVERYTHING! This made the season, Jax finds out about the letters, Clay killing Piney and trying to kill Tara. He is furious, and knows he must take the table. He tells Clay the deal in a excellent scene of fury saying that only because of the Irish need for Clay he keeps him alive. Then in what many call a weak finale(no clue what your talking about) a great version of Rising Son is played as Jax puts together his new table, naming Chibbs Sgt. of Arms, and wanting Opie as Vice President which seemed unlikely sadly. Juice in the end was let go from government and the Rico case died and with Jax with still limited information except for the fact he tried to kill him self allowed him back at table. This put an end to a season that was full of wild rides. Best idea throwing a drug cartel in the mix with the story with the Sons hating the drug trade and finally letting Jax take the table. After all 7 seasons this will forever be far and away my favorite Sons season. Excellent job.

Easily one of the best of the series

Warning: Spoilers
Season 4 had its ups and downs and wasn't as strong as the earlier seasons for the most part but the finale really knocked it out of the park. The acting was on point the music was as always perfect for the scenes. It really restores hope in the show.

It's the lack of attention to detail that gets me
ameliek812 August 2020
The most annoying thing about this show is the lack of attention to detail. In this episode, Bobby suddenly has a guitar while in holding. Where did he get the guitar? Why is he allowed to have a guitar? Who brought him the guitar? It's things like this that happens in every single episode that really lower the quality of the show. Someone or some people aren't thinking about how these things fit into the story or how it makes sense. In this case, it seems wanted to have a specific visual, Bobby sitting alone in his cell, barefoot playing the guitar, like they thought "ooo, this would look so cool!" without regard to how it has anything to do with the story or if it made any sense. This is either on the director or the writers or both. It's just annoying to be into the story and they get these eye roll moments.

Just really disappointing
alexmacrorie-331-61070020 November 2021
The season was so good, and then just looped around again and none of the decisions make sense. I can't believe this episode got rated so high. Every other episode was A+ and then this steam pile came into play. This episode just makes me want to quit the show.
