Things seem to be kicking off

I liked this more than the second episode. Plenty more characters are introduced here than before, and there's a sense that something approaching a main plot begins here. Also, more than half this episode revolves around a creepy man trying to get a bunch of other people to drink juice spiked with laxatives, and he's entirely unsuccessful... but it just keeps on going, and the ridiculousness of it made me laugh.

I like the way it ended. Not sure it can be called a cliffhanger or anything, but it's an intriguing challenge of sorts that's underway which I'm kind of keen to see continue and watch play out.

One of the worst episodes

I am going to be honest with you. I thought this episode was a tragic step down from the first two episodes. This episode was boring and not much actually happened in this episode.

Character development was the main point of this episode and Killuas introduction was amazing. Killua is the same age as Gon and his character is based around a young assassin. There are also other good introductions such as Hisoka Illumi and Tonpa

Summary: Gon, Kurapika and Leorio reach the site of the hunter exam thanks to the creatures help. When they reach the exam they are all socialisng and getting to know different people. Gon meets Killua who is another 12 year old boy and there are some strong people who outclass them such as Illumi and Hisoka.
