Shockingly Real

Warning: Spoilers
Other than the episode where Marshal's dad dies I thought this was the most real episode on the show. The writers are at the point in the series where they know that the long time viewers have a real connection with the show's characters and they are taking advantage of it. For 6 seasons we have known Barney as the guy with a string of one night stands and fear of any commitment. Robin was the first person to ever get him to commit so it makes sense that he still has a connection with her. Personally I have never wanted Barney and Robin to end up together. I really liked Barney with Nora and thought she was "the one." But that's not how life always works and the writers clearly want to portray that to the audience. For the sake of the viewers who do not follow the show they still kept this episode surprisingly light, I found myself laughing throughout most of the episode. But the end of the show (once again) was a shock to me. The fact that Barney was able to admit what he did to Nora and that Robin and Kevin stayed together was not at all what I was expecting. I don't think Barney has ever looked as vulnerable as he did at the end of this show. The writers are finally making him easier to relate with and I can't wait to see what they do with the rest of the season.

Both heartbreaking and genius

I know Barney kissed robin and all but to have him admit to his feelings for her in both his own amusing ways and the heartwarming way was awesome. I love this episode from begin to end because no matter how much I want robin and Barney to be together we do have to realize it's only 10 episodes into the season. The writers of HIMYM will not just give the viewers what the want to see it doesn't happens in real life and it doesn't happen in HIMYM. That's the Beaty of this show the moment you think you have all the mystery solve one action changes the future and it becomes so puzzling that you have to watch the next episode just to figure out yet another piece of the puzzle. HIMYM will continue for seasons to come as a hope and tge longer it stays on the more and more it becomes addictive. The concepts the plot and script is solid and I wouldn't change one bit of this amazing episode and this captivating show.

Ps is always good to see a different side of a character as solid as Barney, his weakness make us relate to him more. There is a Barney in all of us whether we embrace him or not

Brilliant Episode

Barring the episode where Marshall's Dad dies, this was the saddest episode of the show. I didn't actually cry at the end, like that episode, but I was gutted for Barney.

Plot In A Paragraph: Barney and Robin are afraid to break the news to Nora and Kevin that they cheated with each other and want to get back together, while Ted and Marshall get stoned at a concert.

Neil Patrick Harris knocks it out if the park once again as Barney Stinson. Barney has never looked as vulnerable as he did during that look at Robin, and Neil Patrick Harris was heart breakingly superb. Any episode that features the brilliant Neil Patrick Harris's character in the main storyline is always excellent. I could go on and on about the brilliance of this episode, and in particular Neil Patrick Harris but I won't bore you with it.

best himym episode

This episode is the perfect combination of emotion and comedy, himym balances the two perfectly making many episodes with a similar funny than sad dynamic, but this episode is one of the funniest while also having an ending that is so upsetting and a twist.

Tick Tick Tick (#7.10)

Warning: Spoilers
What a wonderful episode. The main part of it is about Barney and Robin dealing with having cheated and their feelings for each other. As I said, once that Nora is gone the show should become better again and I wasn't wrong. At first it is funny to see them dealing with it and trying to think of how to tell it to their partners. but then it actually gets emotional. Especially with Barney. I always hated how he cared about Nora, it bothered me that somebody like Barney would feel like that for anyone, with the exception of Robin. But they managed to show that he definitely cares for Robin more. That second of Robin's look towards him was heart wrenching.

Ted and Marshall being stoned at a concert adds the fun part to this emotional episode on a very high level. Love them acting like that.

Its got some really funny moments but rubbish in the relationship aspect

Warning: Spoilers
Although this episode has countless positive reviews, I personally find it impossible to like. The part when Ted and Marshall got high is potentially one of the most funny jokes in the entire show so far, but the relationship aspect between Barney and Robin is simply intolerable. I especially hate it when Robin fell for Barney so much last season and didn't even like him now. Kevin is great, and I'm actually relieved to find that he's still in the gang. However, I also liked Nora and Barney and find it obnoxious that Barney liked Robin so much although she is a terrible person and broke his heart. I can't even imagine someone like Robin that says "Why do you even like me?" all the time, but practically every guy falls for her. I really don't know how am I going to continue watching the show if Robin and Barney ends up together.

He is meant to be alone. Why make his heart broken again and again?
