OK Glaring hole 1 - the senator kills the call girl after conveniently hitting her with his near priceless umbrella (to leave a clue) then finishes the job with a nearby rock. Er sorry... this senator is so aggrieved that the call girl's tainted evidence has let his daughter's rapist go free that he kills her? If he feels so strongly (strongly enough to commit murder) why doesn't he just kill the rapist? Glaring hole 2 - Jo and another (very recently identified ) victim go to the girls apartment for evidence and the rapist is WAITING FOR THEM! How the f&%k did he know? A mole in the department? The girl set them up? Not explained. Still, thankfully, all that forensic evidence, the thousands of dollar's worth of equipment and the thousand's of dollar's of man-hours lead to the capture, conviction and incarceration of the rapist- er...no - the rapist is shot by a cop with a badge BECAUSE HE LETS HER! I tentatively venture to suggest that a f&%king shed load of money could have been saved if they had just shot the f&%ker whilst trying to escape.
