A man named Leonard "Lenny" Drake is found dead in a garbage truck and Nick and Hank investigate the case. They find blood in the dumpster near his building and a track of blood to the parking garage. The manager explains that the tenant was a violent man that lived in his apartment with the gorgeous Natalie Havershaw. In the previous night, they had an argument and the tenants Marty Burgess first and the lawyer Mason Snyder then had come to protect her. Marty returned to his apartment while Lenny and Mason continued to argue. Then Mason escorted her to her car and she left the building to check in a hotel.

Nick and Hank visits Marty at his junk shop and Nick sees that Marty looked like a mouse. Then they visit Mason and Nick sees that the lawyer looked like a snake. Nick visits Monroe and learns that the creatures are the harmless and coward Mauzhertz and the dangerous and lethal Lausenschlange respectively. Then Monroe receives a phone call relative to a work and Nick leaves him, but Monroe receives a message instead. When another man is found dead in the dumpster of a repair shop in the same "modus-operandis" and Nick believes the cases are connected.

"Of Mouse and Man" is a great episode of "Grimm", with a well resolved story about a harmless man victim of child abuse by his father that feels released after his death. However his trauma does not allow him to get rid of the image of his father. How the "message" received by Monroe will affect his relationship with Nick? My vote is nine.

Warning: Spoilers
(S1. E9) My Live Reaction / Review for Grimm Season 1 Episode 9 ''Of Mouse and Man''. I gave the previous episode a rating of 8.6/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. A guy gets stabbed with a screwdriver. Who was that outside Nick's house taking pictures? What kind of creature is that lawyer? A snake-like creature? Someone gave Monroe a beating? What's going on? Who is it? Marty is a killer? I didn't see that coming. Marty sees his dead dad everywhere, that's very sad. Martin lost his mind, he thinks his father is alive. I wonder when Nick will tell Juliette that he is a grimm. Overall this episode was good, my rating is 8/10.
