Birth is the episode which ties all the sub-stories together. Many of the ghosts want a baby. Plus one of the children will be evil. In the end, all the evil in the house comes out for the child birth. All the morbid characters come into play! The family is meeting an unavoidable tragic fate. The fear, tension, lies etc all come into play. Will the living figuring out in time for what lies wait. Well directed and act. There is a real energy with the Birth episode. A good segue episode for the season final. I wish the Realtor would get it. The Realtor must of known about the house? Why did she come back to the house? Disturbing episode!7 screams out of ten.

This episode begins with Constance in 1984, Tate enters the basement, he almost got attacked by Infantata. Patrick beats up Tate. Violet tells to Ben that she's dead. Viv her babies are coming. One of the babies has been given to Nora. Chad tells to Violet that Tate raped Viv. The other baby has been stolen by Constance. Viv died after the childbirth. Nice episode of American Horror Story Season 1, shocking moments this episode. Viv died. How will Ben hold up?

Chad and Patrick are decoration the baby's room and Billy Dean teaches a spell to get rid of the gays; however it does not work as planned. Ben and Vivien arrive at the house and Ben leaves his wife in the car while he looks for Violet. However Vivien has contractions and Constance brings her into the house where the ghosts of Dr. Montgomery and two nurses are waiting for her. Ben's baby is stillborn and Tate's baby is perfect but Vivien dies. Violet confronts Tate and soon Vivien meets Violet while Constance leaves the room with the baby.
"Birth" is an episode that shows the fate of Vivien and Violet in the infamous house. The great question is where Ben will go crazy or will die in the house and stay with his family. Another question is whether Ben's baby is really dead. My vote is seven.

The episode was fantastic, the acting in this episode was great, Evan peters really shines in his breakout role, the rest of cast like Dylan Connie and taissa were all amazing, that had some intense and difficult scenes but all of them pulled it off

It's Not Possible To Care For ANY Of The Characters. Over- The- Top Melodrama Reminds Us Of The Old American Soap- Operas Except Drawn Out Longer. Well, At Least We Get To Listen To Vivien Scream For A Good Portion Of The Episode. Horror- Not.

As we are used to, at the beginning of the episode they show us someone's past in the murder house.
Tate when he was little he met thadeus, nora drove him away and showed him how to keep the ghosts away. Nora wants a baby but Tate doesn't want to give it to her.
When Ben picks up Vivien, the doctor tells them that babies will soon be born because the baby of Tate is about to be born.
Violet and Tate realize that Chad and Patrick want to kidnap the babies.
Vioet asks Constance for help, which calls Billy Dean Howard. she tells him the story of roanoke, in short, to get rid of chad and patrick you must find their amulets and say croatoan.
Tate seduces Patrick to get something from him. Patrick beats him up, says he hates Chad and he gets angry. The same tate took out the ring.

(S1. E11) My Live Reaction / Review for American Horror Story Season 1 Episode 11 ''Birth''. The previous episode was good and I gave it a rating of 9/10. Let's see if this one is better or worse. Chad and Patrick want the babies for themselves and plan to kill them when they are around 2 years old so that they ''will be cute forever''. That's so sick. It seems everyone wants these babies. Still wondering how ghost semen can make a woman pregnant. They already took Vivien's babies and it seems like Vivien is dying. Yup, she is dead, that's sad. Violet cant forgive Tate for what he did, first time I see a ghost break up lol. Overall this episode was good, my rating is 9/10.

There is no logic to this show and events that happen in previous shows are not continued correctly in subsequent episodes.
This one we see Tate's first encounter with the house.
Everybody is having a party.
Hard to believe there's room the house is so full.
Gay Spock is back.
And Lange wants them gone.
Eventually after unbearable exposition, the baby comes.
Big whoop.
I have to say that the writing sucks on this show.
I think we continue to watch it because it's so freaking cheesy and mindless.
Don'r expect to be frightened in the slightest.

I decided to try this show. But this episode is my last! I watch a lot of TV, but not this anymore. I'm not even bothering to watch the finale, reading the synopsis is more than enough. I love horror and the supernatural, but this is neither. I mean seriously, the spell is CROATOAN? That was just dumb. And this episode itself followed suit with the spell! Buh-bye 'American Horror Story'! Not horror, and not much of a story. I want my time back so that I can watch something decent..
