- The movie has a sex scene including John Reid and Elton John. They lie on the bed and unfasten their pants, and they have sex (we see one man's bare back, buttock and legs with the other man's legs wrapped around him).

- At the start of the movie when Elton is in anger management he says he's a sex addict.

Frightening & Intense Scenes
- Elton says to a crowd that he is going to kill himself by drowning. ( "For my next trick, I'm gonna fucking kill myself" ) He then falls into a pool and has a vision of his younger self before being saved. Very emotional.
- At the very start of the movie when Elton is in anger management he says he's an Alcholic, a Cocaine Addict, a Sex Addict, a Bullmic and says he's a shopolic who has problems with weed and prescription drugs and anger management. This might be upsetting for viewers seeing how many problems Elton has.
